Once again I don't know how she does it. Once I start one of Kristen books I don't want to put it down. I was sad when I finished, last one in the Series. Faye was charming and Chase was the perfect dream guy. Out of all the Mountian men I have to say Tate and Lauren story is my favorite (Sweet Dreams) I have read it twice. lol.

I love the characters in this book and series. They are strong, real, and I love their stories. I have finished this series and have started another, and will probavly end up reading everything by this author. Wish i had found this author sooner. I fell in love with the characters and couldn't put the book down.

This one is tied for favorite in this series, partly because I can relate to the geekiness that is Faye. Chace is so freaking yummy! Their story breaks your heart, makes you cry, makes you laugh. I loved that backbone of steel Faye showed time and again that she was the right woman to stand beside Chace through life.

This is my 4th book by this writer. Just read the part where "Miah" called the hero Aslan. Got tears rolling down my face. To use your own colorful, but surprisingly eloquent vernacular, Ms. Ashley, you are "the s__t"!!

I liked this book, but I agree with previous reviewer that Sweet Dreams is my favorite between the two I also agree with another reviewer that there is alot of explicit sex-I felt the story started getting lost in that (and I do enjoy steamy romance). And for has much as i enjoyed both books, the language is just too much--especially all the JC's and F's all strung together. I can't deal with that. Love alpha males, but they can still be strong, hot hero protectors without all the EXCESSIVE language.

I loved this story so much. It was definitely fast pased & I laughed out loud. Allot. And I cried cow tears. Allot. Good ones too tho. It was the dang ending that was so outta seqence I kinda lost the flavor of it. The one that had me hiped up to get back to it or just not put it down. Wished it had been played out more like the rest of this great book. I wudnt have taken more than 20 pages at the most. Go for it hbo. You're goin to love Chase & Faye, the old & new people you'll meet in Carnel! ! ! Rhop15

I have enjoyed all the books in this series until I got to this one. The story line is weak and has a repetitive theme that runs through the whole series. The characters are unrealistic and unlikeable. There is Faye - 29 years old - has a Masters degree in Library science - is a virgin and acts like she is still in high school and every comment she makes is "whispered". Chace is a police detective who is unable to speak to Faye without calling her baby or honey or thinking about her " bubblegum lips" immediately after they start dating. It's just boring. I think I am finished with this series - no to better things.

I do not like this book. This is the first and last time that I buy a book from this writer. The language was vulgar and some of the stuff a little too much. I wish there was some type of warning on the book so I could have saved my money . The story was fine . I buy humorous romance and the like but this book just didn't sit well with me. I know this is real lifelike but i deal with real life everyday and wish escape once in awhile. If you don't mind the language or the other stuff then this book is okay otherwise take a pass on it. I'll stick to writers like Janet Evanovich,Kristy Woodson Harvey,Robyn Carr, Mary Kay Andrews, etc.

Of Ashley's series, this one is hit or miss. A little too contrived at times, intensity in men of few words, women who aren't smart enough or self aware, though having the appearance of such. Love these books for their pictorials, which Ashley does better than most authors. I feel I know these mountains but know if I showed up, a woman, on my Harley Road King at Bubba's, I don't think it would be quite as welcoming. This Mama don't sit on the back of any man's bike; I ride my own. It is a pretty huge shortcoming in all of my reading in chick lit/soft porn that women have inner strength but no outward strength save a thing for big engines in cages that their men won't let them drive if the man is in the car. I have read and enjoyed hundreds of these books, and sadly, this one is average and no better on the strength or character of her women or men.

Another great book by KA. The men are alpha, and the sex is HOT!

I am a Hugh fan of her. While this was not my favorite of her books or in this series it was still an amazing book. I can't wait for more!

Breathe is the fourth installment in Kristen Ashley's contemporary romance/romantic suspense series titled: Colorado Mountain. Breathe is classic Kristen Ashley- sexy, sweet, suspenseful, funny, and heartwarming. The characters are interesting and relatable, their romance is seriously hot, their personal struggles pull at your emotions, and their motivation to do good just makes you want to jump in the book and help. The suspense element is also classic Kristen Ashley, which is a good thing. By this point in the series, you know it's coming and that knowledge just puts you that much more on the edge of your seat wondering when. If you haven't yet tried this series, I do recommend it. The books are long, but the stories somehow stay fast-paced which makes the length bearable. If you're an audio gal, the audiobooks are well-done- I've personally listened to all of the books up to this point. Check it out! My favorite quote: “I'll let you in on a secret, honey. The knight who has serious chinks in his armor but never falls is the true hero. That means he's won battles and doesn't waste time polishing his armor so he can look good while he rides in parades that are tributes to his glory. He just drags himself back on his steed and keeps right on battling. And if he's the right kind of knight, he never rides alone. The best heroes inspire loyalty. The best heroes keep fighting the good fight, tirelessly, quietly. The best heroes always have scars. If they didn't, the heroine would have nothing to do. It's her job to help the hero let all that stuff go in order that her man can be strong enough to fight on but when he's with her he's free to just 'breathe'.”

Simply amazing. Beautiful story. I was pulled in from the start and felt it all. Excellent writing, flow, and development. Rich, detailed characters full of depth. All of it, from beginning to end was so great. Passion, emotion, drama, bits of humor, lots of hotness... it was just this well thought out story and I was completely lost to it. I adored Faye. I loved her. Her unyielding strength and care for others. That unconditional love that just made your heart feel full. I think Chase might be one of my favorite Kristen Ashley heroes. His sweetness wrapped up in protectiveness was amazing. I loved their story of coming together, their battling of demons and growth. It was sweet, funny, heart felt, and intense.. and super hot! There was a great cast of characters from other stories involved and I loved how they were connected. I thoughts they were integrated well. All the different players really helped round everything out. There was another story connected to what was happening between Faye and Chase and it was wonderful to read. I thought it had a very powerful message and found it really touching. Love how it all played out! Solid beginning, middle, and end. The epilogue was perfect. I cried. I cried several times actually. I was so pulled in, feeling the relationships and hardships, the drama, I can't help but be emotional invested. I had a ton of questions, things that carried over from other books and I was thrilled to get closure. Kristen Ashley is a favorite of mine. I have never been disappointed, ever. I know what I'm going to get and its always spot in. Excellent story, development, and characters that I can get lost in. She always makes me feel something and I am always hooked. I cannot say enough good things.
