About the Author

Anna Zaires fell in love with books at the age of five, when her grandmother taught her to read. She wrote her first story shortly thereafter. Since then, she has always lived partially in a fantasy world where the only limits were those of her imagination. Currently residing in Florida, Anna is happily married to Dima Zales (a science fiction and fantasy author) and closely collaborates with him on all their works.

Luca doesnt know whether to kiss Yulia or kill her--or both. After a betrayal, Lucas wants his pound of flesh from Yulia—literally-- and he has a room full of tools and the skills to get it. But as his plans move forward, he finds himself drawn to the beautiful Russian interpreter. This is a spinoff of the author's "Twist Me" trilogy but can be fully enjoyed as a standalone. However, reading about Julian and Nora in the "Twist Me" series before reading this book will give some extra insight into what’s happening and more details into characters’ backstories. This book takes place during books 2 and 3 of “Twist Me” and gives an alternate view of those dramatic events. It’s a nostalgic glimpse back at Julian and Nora while giving us a brand-new couple in Lucas and Yulia. I received an Advance Reader Copy.

Anna continues to be a an author that captivates you..she brings you along for an amazing roller coaster ride of emotions. She has done it again with this story that continues from The Twist Me Trilogy..this is the beginning of Lucas and Yulia's story and Anna continues to grab the reader. I highly recommend Anna Zaires as an author to be followed..she never disappoints! Please read the her other novels! She is an up and coming author who continues to have more and more readers follow her!

Off to a good start in this trilogy. Hoping to find out more of Yulia's history in book two. Loved Lucas in the prior books and can't wait to get the next one.

Can't wait until the next one in their series comes out! Lucas and Julia have steamy chemistry but their story is well developed here.

5.0 out of 5 stars Let Yourself Be Captivated, December 8, 2015 Edit Review Delete Review This review is from: Capture Me (A Twist Me Trilogy Spin-Off) (Volume 1) (Paperback) Anna Zaires Capture 5 of 5 stars This book is the first in a spinoff series from the incredible Twist Me series by Anna Zaires and judging from this first book this is going to be just as awesome. I would recommend reading the Twist Me series first even though this can be a stand alone, there are some spoilers for Twist Me and the whole world the author has created flows best if read in order. We are introduced to Lucas Kent and Yulia in the last book. We are led to believe Yulia is a spy who has betrayed Lucas, his boss and cost many lives. Lucas can not believe the beautiful blonde he spent one of the most erotic, sensual nights of his life with has done this. Obsessed with Yulia and needing to get to the truth as well as seeking some sort of revenge, Lucas has plans to capture his spy. All is not as simple as it seems and both Lucas and Yulia have pasts and back stories that lead us to this point. both characters are hypnotizing, intriguing and mysterious as is their story. Filled with excitement, suspense, adventure and a high degree of hotness, many surprises, twists and turns this long novella/short novel leaves us on a bit of a cliffhanger. Not to fret the author promises the sequel will follow shortly. Fans of Twist Me will be delighted with this new series, and new readers will find themselves drawn in and held captive as well.

My review is for the trilogy. I love Anna Zaires' books......but even though I enjoyed the story, I just couldn't get over Yulia's part in the plane crash. I couldn't understand how Lucas could just let that go. I'm assuming he trained the men on the plane and even if he was not friends with them, he was their leader. For him to just let that go and be ok with Yulia's part in it seemed out of character, esp taking into account his history in the military. Also the storyline with the maid and her interaction with Yulia and the reason behind it was just stupid. It seemed like Julian and Lucas had no control over their staff.......they are supposed to be these ruthless men and yet even the maid runs about amok on the compound. I'm surprised Julian let Lucas handle things with Yulia for as long as he did. I did feel bad for Yulia and her situation/past.....her trauma and how she was used by the spy agency. She admits to have killed during her training but has not killed it was surprising her lack of guilt and remorse for her part in killing 40plus men. It's a fast read and of course, the chemistry is off the charts.
