Cat Logic and Theory: Unraveling the Feline through Poetry and Prose
Felis Catus. The Cat. For centuries, the feline has been the subject of study, the catalyst of legend and lore, and focus of worship. Here, we have blended science, theory, and experience into story and poetic expression as the cat is examined from ear to tail. Scientists from throughout the ages, if not studying and penning voluminous tomes of feline fact, were consulting and collaborating with their fuzzy counterparts on their particular fields of endeavor. A favorite story told around the laboratory is that Einstein would not square C for several weeks, awaiting the approval of his favorite pet. So, as a minor player in the scientific field, but as a qualified card carrying cat owner, I give you the cat in poetry and prose, applying theory and logic overheard around the cat food dish. The occasional non-cat bit works its way in, but my cat has proofed and accepted the work as satisfactory.
