Patricia Bray and Joshua Palmatier have edited two previous anthologies for DAW Books: AFTER HOURS: TALES FROM THE UR-BAR and THE MODERN FAE'S GUIDE TO SURVIVING HUMANITY. Both are fantasy authors in their own right, and editing just seemed like the next logical step.
