About the Author
Lacey Weatherford was born in Ft. Meade Maryland while her father was serving in the military. She has been a life long resident of Arizona, spending most of her time growing up in the small rural town of Clay Springs. It was while she was attending the small country school in Clay Springs, that she read her first "big" book at the age of eight. It was a Nancy Drew novel and Lacey was instantly hooked. She read every book that she could find in the series and decided that she wanted to write stories too. Lacey spent a lot of time at the library from that time forward, even volunteering in her later teen years and early twenties. She would don a crazy clown outfit for the Friends of the Library fundraisers in an effort to help get the new town library built. When she and her husband moved away from the area, Lacey took the opportunity to take some creative writing classes at the local college to help further along her interests. Several years later, they were blessed with the opportunity to move back to Clay Springs with their family. The town had finally succeeded in building their library and Lacey had the opportunity to be President of the Friends of the Library for a very short time, before relocating. Lacey and her family still live in the White Mountains of Arizona, where she continues to write young adult novels that have a fantasy/fairytale or paranormal bent to them, as well as being sure to include a great romantic storyline

The book was a little short for me, but I enjoyed the twists and character development.
Love lacey weatherford!!!!
When I saw that a book after of witches and warlocks came out I was pumped. The book features Portia and Vances daughter Kenna when Kenna is 18. She is drawn to 2 guys at her new school the way Portia and Vance were without the communication through their minds. Kenna struggles with them and Vance is trying to introduce magic back to Portia. I won't spoil the end but it is unnexpected and it makes me crave answers. I still need to wait 5 months so I will not handle it well. If you xan try to wait untill thenext one. It is so addicting that I read it in a day and I will be going crazy soon. I need thenext book NOW!!!!!!!!! If you want a spoiler (tdhded gdhdodsdtd idsd edvdidld) (get rid of d's :))
I bought this book as a pre order, and now its saying i cant read it. Can somebody help me plz????
I have been waiting and waiting forever it seems to have more of the story about Vance and Portia. This book is a continuation of the series Of Witches and Warlocks, but you do not necessarily have to have read them to be able to enjoy Coven. In this book I also got the added bonus of learning about Kenna, their daughter. This story takes place years after OWAW, when Kenna is 18. Kenna has spent her entire life hidden away for the protection of her and her parents. Her witch powers manifested 16 years before most witches, thus putting her in danger. When Vance, our ever sexy and swoony and want to keep to yourself, concedes and moves his family to none other than Salem, MA to try to live as near as possible a normal life, this story begins. Kenna is being pulled in two different directions by two sexy fellow classmates, Seth and Jett. This story is filled with magic, mystery, and love. This is a must read. Lacey Weatherford has amazed me again with her writing prowess. I did not think that this storyline could get any better, but boy was I wrong. I have always been a Lacey fan and this book has only made that stronger. I would recommend this book to anyone that would like to read something that is a little more grown up feel of Harry Potter meets awesomeness.
