Read all the books and totally fell in love with IA and the Damned. I get why it ended like it did, but I'm still crying....

If I could give this series ten stars, I absolutely would. Well-written, smart military sci-fi with a protaganist that is as compassionate and human as she is powerful. Like her crew, you'll find yourself willing to follow Ia to Hell, asking only which demons we're taking out and which we're leaving in place, are we taking over permanently or just visiting, and how long? This book in particular wraps up the series as it began and went on, in amazing fashion. It's sprinkled with hilarious Easter Eggs for the astute reader and hits all the notes just right. The end will leave you speechless—and though it wraps up the story—wanting more.

This series was hard to put down. It is a compelling read but frequently confusing. The ending was anti climactic. It ended too abruptly.

This has been my favorite series from book 1 to present. I waited anxiously for the release date for each one and have reread the series from the beginning to end repeatedly. I love the characters and the setting. The story flows smoothly and each book is very hard to put down. I wish there was even more to Ia and the Damned's story and hope they come around our way again in the future. Until then, I will keep reading their story every few months to enjoy what has been written and imagine ways to see them again.
