Delusions of Anubis

Kyle and his parents have recently moved back to America after four years in Cairo when tragedy strikes. Already struggling to readjust, Kyle's mother's death tears his world apart, the anguish and despair further straining his already tense relationship with his father. Soon, he begins having visions of himself in the Underworld—the Duat—in which he is Anubis, the Egyptian god of embalming.
