About the Author
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada LaSandra Morrison developed her passion for writing when she lost everything and had to move in with her grandmother for two years. She quickly discovered writing and publishing and was on her feet directly after. Now, Sandra has fallen in love with writing. LaSandra Morrison, also known as Sandra Thee Author, published her first book titled “Dear Outsider: The one who suffers silently” in April 2019. Sandra quickly sold out of her book copies at her first book signing. The book described true events that occurred in Sandra’s life as well as some descriptive details of strategies she used to recover from the trauma. Sandra began publishing books for others in July 2019. She has handed in participation to write and publish books like; Broken and Saved: From Pain to Power By Tiffany Lee, LIE: Liberate Innovate Empower By Kenya Young, Becoming a first lady By Nina Gaines, and more! Sandra published her second book For The Love of Honey: The Dough Game, in 2020 during the very famous coronavirus pandemic. This book sold out the very first week on Amazon! Sandra went on to receive her Associate of Arts Degree in Business on September 10, 2020. Shortly after, Sandra was inspired to help other women who are currently in school become successful moms, students, entrepreneurs, and bosses. Thus, to this success, Sandra then wrote her third book, The Motivated Mom: Motivational Journal, which includes worksheets and interactive activities for the struggling mother who is motivated to succeed. LaSandra then became pregnant with her second child in 2020. A month later, she produced a nonprofit called Rescue The Children in Las Vegas, Nevada, which assists less fortunate children in the community. She hosted three very successful events and has even donated to Sunrise Children’s Hospital Pediatrics Department. Sandra continues to write and publish and produce informative pieces all over to successfully assist single mothers and women. She will continue to motivate and liberate the women in her reach.
