I received a free copy of DEVIL IN THE DETAILS (An Ivy Granger, Psychic Detective, Short Story) by E.J. Stevens in exchange for an honest review. Ivy Granger started out as a psychic detective with just her friend Jinx for support and assistance. Since then, Ivy’s circumstances have changed, and Ivy and Jinx are no longer alone. One of those new additions to their family is an innocent toddler. This short story explores how Ivy and Jinx respond when that toddler comes down with a mysterious illness. I enjoyed this story and am a huge fan if the Ivy Granger series. I recommend the entire series to fans of urban fantasy! #DevilintheDetails #NetGalley
Poor Sparky… NO SPOILERS HERE: Ivy’s beloved little demon baby, Sparky, is feeling under the weather and Ivy must figure out what is wrong and find a way to fix it. This little short story carries a big message about compassion and maternal instincts. I would love to read more about the events at the end of the story and maybe even have that spun into another adventure for Ivy and her friends. Overall, this was a short but exciting little adventure for the Ivy Granger series. More please. I was provided with an advance copy of this story by the author and I am voluntarily offering this honest and unbiased review.
