I devoured this novella in one whole hour! I can hardly wait until the third novel comes out. The story line was a  little rushed, but I enjoyed the point of view from Jules. Now I'm second guessing if Vincent really is the right choice for Kate.

Jules was always one of my favourite characters in the series. Getting a story from his perspective was great. As soon as I got it, I started reading and didn't stop until I was done! It was really interesting to see another side of the story.

I love everything Amy Plum writes and Die for Her is no exception. I will say that if you haven't read the first two books in the series that this book will be too confusing. For those of us who are fans, it was perfection. I love getting into Jules' head and heart. Thank you, thank you, thank you Amy. All read

FACT: Jules loves women. Women loves Jules. I believe he uses his revenant life as an excuse for being a player (for a lack of a better word). Until Kate comes along! When she does he learns and experiences a new side of loving a woman and how it feels to not get her. I also enjoyed how this story spanned over first two Until I Die books.

Hey, my name is Mariah H. Always had a hunch that Jules has feelings for Kate, but not sure if he's serious or just being Jules? This beautifully written novella will rid of all your doubts. Even as a die-hard "Vincent and Kate forever!" girl, this novella had me saying that if maybe, maaaybe Vincent didn't make it, I would want Kate to end up with Jules. The novella spans the time of both the previous books and ends right as our hearts are wrenched out for a second time with Vincent's kidnapping. Absolutely, 100 percent that $2 and a must read for the fans of this series. You won't regret it.

I have to admit, I was a little hesitant to read Die for Her. Mainly because the premise and plot for the novella is that Jules is in love with Kate. I’ve read the first two books in the Revenants series and although Jules openly flirts with Kate, I’ve never seen any more feelings from him beyond friendship. I wasn’t sure how the author would be able to pull something like this off and make it believable to me, the reader. Die for Her centers on Jules. We see glimpses of his life while Vincent begins to fall in love with her, long before they met. We also read about how Jules feels for Kate and the realization that he can never have her. It explains his jokes, the flirting and how he’s coming to terms with all that’s happened around him. It is a rehash of the first two books in the novel, not a terrible idea to read before the newest book comes out next month, If I Should Die. Unlike most novellas, it is decent in length and does offer character insight, from someone that we already care about. It also is believable. Plum has the ability to show another side of a character we already know a little about, Jules. Her writing was captivating and definitely made me want to read more. The chapters were short, direct and to the point. I would recommend this before you pick up If I Should Die, next month. It also includes a little teaser from the next book in the series.

**May contain spoilers to Books 1 and 2, Die For Me and Until I Die.** I practically squealed in delight when I knew that there's going to be a Revenants novella told from Jules' POV! He's one of my favorite characters in the series so Die For Her is a real treat for me. :) Ever since Die For Me, I've known that Jules is in love with Kate. Yet, that knowledge did not bother me a bit. I was never worried that there'll be a love triangle between Vincent, Kate and Jules. I even find it cute whenever Jules flirts with Kate. But in this novella, I discovered that not everything is 'cute' in Jules' perspective. This book recounts the events from before Die For Me until the end of Until I Die. Not everything is retold, of course, only the parts where there is Jules. And I find it interesting even though I already know what happened in those parts. Being in Jules' head is refreshing and it allowed access to thoughts and information that Kate (who narrates the books in the series) is not aware of. For example, I learned that Vincent was already drawn into Kate way before they really met, and that Jules was against the idea of Vincent obsessing over her. Or how Vincent was when Kate broke up with him. The Dark Way (which is how Vincent can resist dying and is mentioned in Until I Die) is also explained further. Reading this novella also refreshed my mind about the series. I was able to remember what happened in the first two books so when the third book comes out, I wouldn't need a re-read to keep up with what's happening in the story. But more importantly - and what I liked the most about Die For Her - it highlighted Jules' love and loyalty to Vincent. He's in love with his best friend's girlfriend but he did not do anything about that. Some might have a different opinion about it and would say that it's cowardly but for me, it shows Jules' deep respect for Vincent to not even attempt to say what he feels for Kate. It's sad and painful to read about his feelings but I admire Jules for being a true friend to Vincent and Kate. A good and quick read, Die For Her tells a story of love (albeit unspoken and  unrequited) and friendship. I really enjoyed it.

I was debating whether or not to purchase this as I'm not a huge fan of novellas, but I must say that I am SO GLAD that I did! Jules is one of my favorite characters in the series, so it was wonderful to be able to see a short synopsis of events from the first two books in the series through his eyes. I always knew in the back of my mind that he had feelings for a certain lady. I'm glad to know that my suspicions were correct :)
