Is it possible not to fall in love with Jules? Nope, it's impossible. I was so thrilled that Amy Plum made another novella for Jules. I bought this so fast and read it just as quickly. He was one of my favorites in the Die For Me trilogy and it stunk when he didn't really get a happy ending, but, I think this makes up for it. I loved how Ava didn't fall for any of Jules little flirtation tricks, she was just hilarious and know how to kick some butt. Psh, If Ava wasn't going to be with Jules I was going to be next in line haha.

So I hate to do this, as I gave all the other books in the series 5 stars... but this novella did NOT do it for me. While I'm happy things worked out for Jules in the end, this short was just too convenient if you get what I mean. Everyone found love and ended up happy, what a kawinkydink. But, I think I feel that way because I truly thought that Ms. Plum would make an entire book, if not a few books, about Jules's story in New York. There were so many possibilities that could have taken place with this story line. It was almost like Ms. Plum just wanted a rushed happy ending for everyone. I felt like some of the events in this novella could have been drawn out, detailed, and formed into a bigger, better story. So, while this was good because it closed a few of the loops left open from the books, it was in no way fantastic by any means like the books were. Bottom line: this was good, but not great, and it was way too corny.
