About the Author

Ashley & JaQuavis hit the street lit scene at the age of 17 when they were discovered by Carl Weber. Their first novel, Dirty Money, was an instant hit, putting them on the road to literary success. They have published more than twenty novels as a duo, including the New York Times bestselling Cartel series. They are pursuing movie and television projects to bring some of their blockbuster books to the big screen. Now married, the pair still lives in Flint, Michigan, the city that inspired many of their gritty urban tales.

First of all, it literally took me two weeks to read this book. This wasn't a very good book at all. The only reason I bought this book was because u bought guilty gucci and it was really good! But really......everybody????? I'm not gonna say what I want because it will give too much away to other people who might want to read this book. But I can say, again, I was very disappointed.

I loved this book. It took me no time to read it and it kept me wanting more. In fact this was the first book I read by Ashley and JaQuavis and every since then I've read every book they put out. "Dirty Money" turned me into a die hard fan of theirs. To the last person that made a comment this book does have a part two which is "Supreme Clientele." You should check it out. The book doesn't focus of Anari however, it will give you an update on what happened later so you will not be hanging forever.

Ashley Jaquavis gives us more than we can handle with their freshman novel, Dirty Money.

Fourteen year old Anari has two dreams in life, to get away from her cruel mother and move out of the ghetto. After circumstances put her with a small time hustler named, Maurice, Anari's life changes forever. Anari must learn fast and hard lessons of friendship, money and murder.

This is a very good book... But the ended was not so great ... Anari and Von was not supposed to die .. And boss sparks should have hurried and said that their was a bomb and said the girls name.. Which would have gave Von time to pull her out the car and make her explain tony and why she played the role and he should have told her that he was going to go kill shawna and this would have never ended like that ... Him being worried about her emotions and hiding what he was doing messed up everything smh

Well I'm really tired because I just had to finish the book in one sitting. This story was sad and good all at the same time. The characters are lively, memorable, hustlers, mothers, fathers, friends, and we can't forget the enemy's.
