I got this book because I like men with rough edges and women that don't take crap from anyone. This book has it in spades the main character is different then most teenage girls and the boy likes that. Plus the steam coming off both of them leads to intense sexatully attraction. Plus this is my favorite of the serises right now and in my oppion the best by far.

L.A. Casey’s debut novel Dominic was a smashing success! Dominic takes place in Dublin, Ireland and follows Irish lass Bronagh Murphy as she meets and develops a rocky relationship with American, Dominic Slater. Until Dominic steamrolls into her life and sits in her seat at school, Bronagh has managed to keep to herself and remain friendless following her parents’ death in a car accident, when she was just a child. But now, Dominic has set his eyes on Bronagh, and so begins an explosive, push/pull, tug-of-war relationship as Dominic slowly draws Bronagh out of her comfort zone and into the world around her. As their relationship grows we find there is more to Dominic and the Slater brothers (there are four MORE sexy brothers!) than meets the eye. It was sarcastic, funny, sharp, steamy and downright sexy! While in many ways Bronagh is fragile and damaged by her past, in that she refuses to trust or make friends, do not mistake that for meaning that she is a shy and quiet thing. Bronagh is a feisty, spirited lass who goes toe to toe with the cocky Dominic. And the emotions between these characters were raw and gripping! We see Bronagh mature throughout the story as Dominic begins to pull her out of herself. Will she open her heart to him as well or are the Slater Brothers just too much to handle? This book had so many different elements to it: friendship, family, explosive chemistry, secrets, witty banter, tragedy, fights, sarcasm, laughter, hot steamy sex scenes – all tied together into a most addictive little package. I highly recommend Dominic. You won’t regret getting this book! I cannot wait to get the next Slater Brothers book into these hot little hands! I received a Complimentary Copy of Dominic from the author in exchange for my honest review.

I received this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review. First things first, there is a reader note at the beginning of the book that I highly recommend you read before starting this book as it will make an impact on how you read it. OK, so onto the story itself. Bronagh has locked away her emotions and won't allow herself to care for anyone apart from her sister. She is bullied by Jason Bane at school and out of it and is currently enjoying the fact that he isn't at school due to a prolonged holiday. Dominic arrives in town with his brothers and, along with his twin Damien, is in Bronagh's home-room. They instantly clash and comments are flying. The clash of personalities made me smile and laugh out loud on more than one occasion but I would seriously take note of the warning in the synopsis. This book started with a bang and carried on in the same vein. I have to say that although I was loving the storyline as a whole there were parts that I didn't enjoy. The verbal abuse/bullying from Dominic reminded me of playground material, not the behaviour of an 18 year old, the constant high adrenaline drama, the constant fist fights between Dominic, Jason and Gavin and how Dominic was friends with Jason one minute and not the next was giving me whiplash. Bronagh was just as bad in her own way though so I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not! There are twists in this book that L.A. Casey is very clever at bringing into the storyline which will keep you interested in the outcome and invested in the brothers. However, for me, I was also very happy to finish this book as I felt overloaded with drama. Perhaps it was too much of a good thing but I just know that I'm glad my life isn't like that or my nerves would be shot! On the whole, I really enjoyed this book, the characters and the storyline but it was a bit too much on the drama side for me to give it 5 stars.

A great start to a new series. Lots of action and laughs with drama thrown in to keep you turning pages. I ran across this author by accident and so glad I did. Can't wait for the other brothers book....great read

I'm not finished yet, but I can say this..... Nico is a D**k. I assume he will get better, but I don't like his rudeness. Otherwise enjoying the book.

Seriously, i had to stop reading this book countless times due to the bronagh's insecurity/obsession with her butt, and pear shaped body. I get it, shes young and with her age comes body image issues, but it should not be in almost every other page of the book. The forever kind of love and chemistry/hot and cold anger issues at their ages was hard enough to come to terms with and be ok with reading, honestly, if they had been college age i would have found their story more appealing, but aside from their ages, her irritating, distracting from the story, body image problems were a complete turn off. I dont except everyone to be barbie or some hot model but i do except them at some point to own it and work with what they have, making them appealing to the readers mind. She has beautiful eyes, hair, skin.... focus on the positive, there is a reason why they are attracted to each other and its certainly not their constant, annoying, fly off the handle, fighting.

Dominic by L.A. Casey is a good read. The language barrier began as an issue for me, but became a hilarious turn of events. I love these characters and the story line was very dramatic (and violent), but ended peacefully. I would have liked to join this family for Christmas, but it did not ruin the experience for me.

Love how the characters all intertwine in the story and the humor. I love when a story has me laughing out loud and tearing up as well. Anticipating Damian's story. Hurry up and finish it please!

The behavior of Dominic and Bronagh is childish and sometimes down right unbelievable, the story line itself could have been so good. No one seemed to have a filter on their mouths.

A good fun read that made me actually lol. My only problem is I feel like they should be in college not h.s. Especially the way Nico speaks to his girl. Otherwise interesting read.

Excellent read!  Love alphas, and a family full of them is even better.  I know Alec is next, but I'm especially anxious for Kade, Damien, and Ryder's stories.  Love this series!
