Duke of Manhattan is a standalone but a few characters do pop up from King of Wall Street and Prince of Park Avenue in saying that I really don't think it matters if this is your first book by Louise Bay, it's still a brilliant read. Scarlett married young and divorced young, at only 20 she is trying to get on with her life and put her bad breakup from her childhood sweetheart behind her. Work is her saviour and the success of Cecily Fragrances has become the most important thing in her life. Ryder is British but his life and his business is in Manhattan, he is heir to the Duke of Fairfax title buts it's a title and a job he doesn't want, for him his older sister who is helps their grandfather run the estate should be the natural heir. He needs to marry to stop the estate going to a cousin ...... A night of passion turns into a business proposal but is that all it is or will true love win the day. I love Louise Bay's book and for me this was the best one to date, her books seem to get better and better with each one I read. The stories are hot, the characters have chemistry and there is always some humour mixed with just the right amount of angst. I really hope we get to read Violet and Darcy's stories soon as they both need a Louise Bay man in their life's. This is a must read book

Just the right amount of laughter, love, and tears, continues with the Duke of Manhattan. This book gives the story of Scarlett and Ryder, and can easily be read as a stand-alone. Each book in this series has gotten better and better. Thank you Louise for writing them!

I am new to this Author. This book was recommended to be by one of my favorite authors Nelle L'Amour. I fell in love with Ryder and Scarlett and hope to hear more of their story. I also think Violet and Darcy have great stories to tell and am looking forward to hearing them. This whole family was a pleasure to get to know ( yes, even Fred and Vi ?) and I'm not ready to say goodbye to them. I will definitely read more from this author.

I loved this book. Loved the interaction of the characters. I hope there is a book about Violet and/or Darcy to complete the series. Louise Bay is a great author and love reading all her series.

First of all, can we please talk about this book cover. Now, I love seeing sexy abs on a hot, alpha male just as much as the next woman, but there is something even more enticing about a hot, alpha male in a beautifully tailored suit! Isn't it fun to imagine what hotness lies underneath those clothes?!?! Okay, enough about the cover... Scarlett and Ryder. Their names sound so perfect together you can only hope that means the same for a relationship between them. Scarlett still feels the effects of a divorce she was blindsided by. She takes this sad energy and focuses on her career, needing to prove something to herself and her ex-husband. Although things in her business are going extremely well, her dating life is anything but ideal. Her sister convinces her to let lose and have a one-night stand, what could it hurt, right?!?! Ryder can't believe when he's in a meeting the next morning that Scarlett turns out to be the one he has business dealings with. The funny thing is, Ryder is used to one-night stands but for some reason this feels different and he's happy to see Scarlett. The more he gets to know her, the more he realizes she is not like the other woman he's been with. Ryder finds himself in a sticky situation with his family estate and the only way to save his company and inherit everything he's worked so hard for is to get married. But, is Ryder really the marrying type?!?! The two get to know each other and the chemistry you feel between them is OFF.THE.CHARTS. Their feisty banter only adds to the intense attraction they feel towards one another. Ryder has a plan and proposition for Scarlett, but can she really go through with it after the heartache she suffered after her first marriage coming to and end?!? Louise does a great job of pulling you into the story, you can't get enough and the characters come to life! Their attraction for each other catches them both off guard and that makes the journey all the more fun! This is my favorite book from Louise. She totally delivered here and I could not get enough of Ryder and Scarlett. Loved, loved, loved the Duke ❤️ Please do yourself a favor and one-click!

Louise Bay has done it once again! She’s given us another sexy, dominant, male in Manhattan. Only, this guy is British aristocracy. I wondered when I picked it up if this was going to be another marriage of convenience story but it was so much better. Scarlett has been divorced for the past two years and is done with the dating scene, so she throws herself into her fragrance company, which seriously needs cash flow. Ryder deals with investments, and has quite the successful company. He’s called back home when his grandfather, the duke, has a fall. Ryder is set to inherit the title, but he has to be married , or the title reverts to his jerk of a cousin, Frederick. When one-night stand Scarlett shows up looking for help, Ryder has an interesting solution for Scarlett. Then, it’s proving their relationship to everyone, including Frederick. Just a fun, sexy read from Louise. This carries on the Manhattan series with the awesomeness we come to love from Ms Bay!

Louise is a new author to me and I was lucky to have an opportunity to read Duke of Manhattan. I devoured this book, hooked from the beginning. I absolutely love Ryder and Scarlett's characters, they completed one another. Who could resist a handsome guy with a British accent. I know I wouldn't. Ryder will make you swoon. Scarlett didn't know Ryder was royalty. Their journey will make you smile, laugh, happy, sad, angry and maybe even a little teary eyed. I say go for it and grab a copy of Duke of Manhattan. Looking forward to more of Louise's books.

DIBS! Ryder is mine. ALLLL MINE! Holy wowzers, Duke of Manhattan is a deliciously and sexy new standalone from Louise Bay. And boy, oh boy, does she know how to do sexy British alpha INCREDIBLY well! This book could have easily fallen into the pitfalls of its trope. But nope. I was met with a fresh voice, ridiculously hot sexy, and humorous moments that kept me reading and wanting for more. Louise Bay has this innate ability to just hold your attention and heart hostage with her characters. It's truly amazing. Every single book of hers has not been what I expected, but rather so much more amazing! Duke of Manhattan is hands down a favorite of the year for me! If you're looking for a terrific book, some steamy sex, and an engaging storyline get this book NOW!! Happy Reading! *ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest review*

Who knew that a fabulous love story could begin based on money and hot sex? Louise ay that's who. "Duke of Manhattan" pairs up a confirmed manwhore bachelor with a divorcee who has desires a Forever After marriage. Ryder Westbury enjoys meaningless sex with almost every woman in Manhattan and Across the Pond. He's made his fortune in Manhattan even though he's in line to be England's next Duke of Fairfax. Scarlett King's a 2 year divorcee who's diligently dated attempting to find a man worth having sex with. She left her career as an investment banker to follow her bliss and start a fragrance company with her friend. Throughout "Duke of Manhattan" Ryder and Scarlett undergo tremendous emotional growth. They develop trust, companionship, and finally find love. The storyline is engaging, the characters are alluring, and the sex is oh so spicy HOT. "Duke of Manhattan" is delightfully charming and wickedly sexy. Ryder is extraordinarily charming, delicious, and surprisingly sensitive. Scarlett is tough, cheeky, yet vulnerable. Louise Bay creates an entertaining and engaging storyline with a quick and lively pace. Though a stand-alone novel "Duke of Manhattan" brings back characters from "King of Wall Street" and "Park Avenue Prince". Violet King is a fabulous secondary character: fun, brash, and impulsive. Ryder and Scarlett's romance was more than I could ask for. It has witty banter, super sexy times, and an adorable developing romance. I recommend this book oh so very much! Everytime I read a book by Louise Bay, I think how much I love it. The Duke of Manhattan has topped all of the others! I completely fell head over heals for Ryder and Scarlett. I loved how Ryder who never wanted anymore more than one night, was at a complete loss after spending time with Scarlett. He didn't want to be without her. Scarlett tried so hard not to fall for Ryder knowing that there was an expiration date, but there was so much between them. Not just the hot nights, but the nights they spent talking and sharing things. Louise Bay does such a great job with giving her characters depth and making them well rounded. I loved watching Ryder panic as he found out what being in love truly was about and the fact that he might not get Scarlett back. It was an emotion that he had never felt and Louise painted it perfectly. Of course, I loved seeing the rest of the gang (Violet, Harper, Max, Sam and Grace). Such a great read! I absolutely loved it!

What's a duke to do when he finds himself in need of a duchess? Just one in name only, mind you, long enough to secure his empire, and keep things just the way that they are, thank you very much. If it's Ryder Westbury, Duke of Fairfax, and New York royalty, he seeks solace in the arms of an unknown lovely, and vows to think about it tomorrow. Scarlett King, sister of the the Max King, is a capable businesswoman in her own right, but those pesky loans coming due are making the future look a little less than bright. Add to that the fact that she can't find a man that keeps her interest for more than one date, and, well, a girls' night out seems just the thing to take her mind off things. Who knew that a one night stand could change two lives so completely? Oh, my gosh, this book. I'm pretty sure that I say that each successive man in Louise Bay's books is my favorite, but Ryder Westbury has literally stolen the crown. Funny, sexy, and unabashedly single, the last thing on Ryder's mind is getting married and settling down, even if it's the only way to keep the family estate in the capable hands of his sister, and his business in his own hands. What to do, what to do? Enter one Scarlett King. I cannot express how much I love Scarlett. She's had a less than stellar experience at love, and is pretty sure that she's never going to meet another man that will make her heart sing. She's hardly expecting that a passionate night with the über-sexy Ryder Westbury will change the course of her life. But, oh, how he does. These two are perfect for each other. Ryder, playboy player that he is, has a kind heart, a deep love of his family, and just the right amount of snark to keep things interesting. Scarlett is more than able to hold her own with him, and her sass, sparkle, and innate kindness show Ryder just what he's been missing. Louise's books have long been some of my favorites, but I can easily say that DUKE OF MANHATTAN is leading the pack, and definitely one of my top romantic reads of 2017. There is not one bit of this story that I did not find myself loving, and getting to see old friends and favorites made it even more enjoyable. I know a book is a winner when I find myself saying, 'I am just absolutely loving reading this!' over and over again, and when I can't put it down. DUKE OF MANHATTAN wins on both counts, and I couldn't recommend it more. 5 sexy, sweet, HEA stars for Scarlett and Ryder. If you're a fan of Louise, you truly don't want to miss this one, and, if you don't know Louise Bay and her writing yet, this one will make you a fan for sure.

Louise has done it again with another book I couldn't put down, I was sucked in from the first few lines until the very last page. Ryder and Scarlett's chemistry was full of witty and feisty banter, hot as hell sex and a love they never saw coming. I have a new favorite couple and you will too once you read this book. Looking forward to the next amazing book by Louise!

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This book is part of 3 book series and I have read them all. They are actually the only books I have red by this author. Book 1: is the King of Wall Steet and I LOVED it. So much it stars Harper and Max. Max is a single dad and has his own company. He hires Harper and things go from there. In this book, book 3 Max and Harper are mentioned alot so I would definitely read this first book. Book 2: is Park Avenue Prince and it was enjoyable but nowhere near how much I loved the first book. It stars Sam and Grace who are in book three for I think one or two scenes. So if you never read this book, you won't feel like you are missing anything. Book 3 is the Duke of Manhatten and OMG it was the best in the entire series. I LOVED Ryder and Scarlett together. They have a marriage of convenience that I beyond loved. They became best friends and teamates and everyone can see as they fall for the other,. Only they have no clue. Yep they are the last to know and I loved this entire book. It is one I know I will re-read. The story unfolds in a wonderful manner. We meet Ryder as he rushes to his grandfathers side after he falls. There he finds that in order to save his company he must get married so if his grandfather dies, he inherits the Duke title and he gets to keep his company. He hates teh idea of marriage and until he meets Scarlett he doesn't even contemplate it. Scarlett and Ryder meet at a bar. She has been divorced and her husband was the love of her life but he dumped her calling her boring. So we meet her as her and her sister are having a drink. That is where she meets Ryder and has a one night stand with him. The next day they meet professionally and OMG those scenes were so terrific. Scarletts business loans are up and Ryder's compan wants to pay them off and buy her company, but she does not want to sell. And so a bargain is made. These two, together well they become friends and have the hottest sex ever. There are TONS of sex scenes and they are HOT!!! But while thats happenin they are also talking and falling in love though they have no clue. I loved watching them become friends and have each others back. This really is the best of the entire series and I beyond loved it. If you like a story with love, family, friends and finding your best friend then you will love this story.

I picked this book up and could NOT put it back down. This was the perfect mix of dirty, sexy and romantically sweet. Scarlett and Ryder are a dynamic duo providing lots of hot, sexy times along with an easy relationship that Ryder never expected to find and that Scarlett thought she lost with her divorce. My favorite line is when he takes her to his place, while sorting through his mail he tell's her so nonchalantly, "Scarlett, I want you to take off your clothes." Ryder is in control! I loved this story and the characters. I see the potential for a few spin-offs that I hope for these future stories, as well. I'm hooked.... back to read the others in the series now! **ARC provided for review
