After watching a friend struggle with weight related health issues, since January, I changed how my entire family ate. I didn't to change much except our plate size and start practicing portion control. (I will admit that idea, it didn't just pop in my head. My sister had been using the tips she found in a book called Conquer Your Kitchen from Chef Jai, which I highly recommend. I borrowed her copy until my own copy came.) Any way, with this book, I was only disappointed by the good doctor's emphasis on using egg plant and bananas. I hate both of them! And I what really is "water sautee?" I am giving it four stars for the green lemonade alone, flip to page 45 for that one. The kale cabbage my hubby didn't like at all, but my daughter asked for more of. I loved the Chocolate Almond Truffles though. Good book. Is a must read? I will let you decide for yourself.
