Elizabeth: A Rose Among Thorns

Amidst a patriarchal 19th century society, a matriarch has to fight to be taken seriously. However, as independent and strong as young and vivacious Elizabeth appears, her secret lover sees through her and façade and makes her face her vulnerabilities. As she accepts that she may not be able to carry all of the responsibility that she inherited from her mother alone forever, she finds herself having to painfully choose between the love of her life and her beloved family.
