No implant, no life. Cutting it out was probably a mistake, and the hunt for the truth can get them killed.

The plague has changed everything. In the ruthless world of deadly plants and realistic simulations, people need all their ingenuity just to survive.

Cay is fleeing home, cutting his very identity from his palm along with his implant. Something strange is happening to him, urging him to leave his life behind. But is it real, or is he stuck in a simulation?

Vietra is done. She won't put up with the Master's cruelty anymore, and she doesn't care about her mysterious purpose. The time has come for her to choose her own fate, and she’s willing to pay the price.

'Mind-bending, exciting and unpredictable' according to the readers' reviews on Amazon, this cyberpunk thriller will take you on a ride filled with unexpected turns of events, suspense and plot twists.

'You never really know what’s coming in this one, and that’s what makes it so much fun to read!' Joshua Grant

About the Author

A sci-fi author, a nomad, a dreamer and a reader on a quest.

After I realized that most of the science fiction I've read was written by men, I decided to discover as many female and non-binary sci-fi authors as possible. I've got a website where I review books by famous as well as indie and self-published writers, create lists, do interviews, etc.

Favorite authors: Lois McMaster Bujold, N.K. Jemisin, James S.A. Corey.

I love a good dystopian sci-fi thriller with a mix of cyberpunk and adventure that dives deeply into the characters' psychology. Black Mirror is a great example of a show that explores grand ideas through a very personal lens, creating an emotional and real experience - a style I try to emulate in my writing.
