I have always wondered what it was like when cocky Levi's charming ways went unnoticed, well somewhat unnoticed, by Allie we they first met. It had to have been a burn to his high flying ego. And in some ways it was. Poor guy. Never been told no before until Allie. Now he is constantly getting told it from every angle. But he doesn't let that two letter word deter him. In fact, it only makes him try harder. Great little novella. Only problem for me was that it ended. I needed to see his side of things as things progressed. But I still loved what Ivy gave us and I really cannot complain. It was a fabulous little read and we get Levi. So yeah, things are good and I will take what I can get. Definitely something you don't want to read first in the series if you have yet to read any of the books. But if you have at least read FLIGHT, then I say get at it. This is just a fun addition to a stellar series. One of my most favorite series ever actually. 5 Feathery Stars!

I really liked this series but I'm feeling very much ripped off right now. I didn't know this was the same book as First and Forever. I wasted $1.99. Why write the SAME book and sale it?

First is a Crescent Chronicles novella by Alyssa Rose Ivy told from Levi's point of view. This book takes place during Flight, Book one, when Levi and Allie first meet. I enjoyed getting a glimpse into Levi's mind. It let me know what he was thinking and felt when they first met and how those things started to change and grow as they got to know each other. I really enjoyed his internal monologue as he took his first blows to the ego too. It was good for him. *grins* First by Alyssa Rose Ivy was kindly provided to me by the author for review. The opinions are my own.

I love the story of Levi and Allie. My only complaint was this book ( I realize it was a novella) was too short!!!! I would have loved to see it all play out through Levi's POV. Great short read!

Alyssa Rose Ivy is an amazing author. I have read this whole trilogy and loved every bit of it. First was a great way to let her readers get to know a little more about Levi. To get to read about how Levi thought about Ally and how he realized he loved her and not just wanted to sleep with her was really cool. I love the war Ms. Ivy wrote the book too. Something about the way she wrote the first book, Flight, just reeled me in. I've had a hard time finding some really good series after reading the Mortal Instruments and Harry Potter but in my opinion this series is better. It didn't have a lot of unnecessary information. It just got straight to the point. I can't wait to read what she comes out with next!
