Flatland

An intriguing and enjoyable read. The first part of the book describes a two-dimensional world giving a wonderfully intuitive sense of a mathematical concept. The plot develops in the second half as the main character, A. Square, is exposed to the third dimension and envisions what the fourth dimension must be like. What I enjoyed was the imaginative story and amusing critique of society.
