Forever Entangled (Forever Bluegrass Series #1) by Kathleen Brooks

Ryan Parker had always loved Sienna Ashton, but gave up on his fantasy years ago.
After working as an undercover FBI Agent in Los Angeles, Ryan gets a phone call telling him to come home to the small town of Keeneston, Kentucky. The woman he thought he was over is now in serious trouble.

Sienna Ashton fell in love with Ryan Parker too late. He was gone from her life before she realized what he really meant to her. Now working as a sports psychologist, Sienna finds herself helping others figure their lives out. She thinks her chance of happily ever after is long gone until a murder brings Ryan back into her life and entangles them in a battle for their heart and their lives.

Ryan and Sienna discover there is more going on than originally thought and now the two are in the fight of their lives. It doesn't take long for fireworks to ignite as passion and danger drive the couple toward a fate they never saw coming.

Kathleen Brooks weaves her magic to create this fast paced highly suspenseful romance. Full of twists and turns and laced together with unigue characters plus lots of humor, this book is a book you won't want to put down till the vary end. L.M.A.

Would have been better than the overflow of characters. Not a cliffhanger, but a few questions were left unanswered.

I absolutely love this series and recommend them to everyone!

Just enough mystery, action, and romance to keep you wondering what will happen next. A lot of familiar characters from the town keep you laughing. And most of all, this book addressed a lot of current issues without preaching or bias.

This story is nice but it will be a little more better if they put more action

Too Many Characters, But a Fun Read Nonetheless. For its (relatively) short length, this book has a LOT of characters. So many so that I honestly gave up almost right away in trying to remember all of their relations to each other. They were all cousins or related in some way. It was overwhelming and led me to never really see any of them as individuals or care about them. But that’s my only complaint. The story itself is sweet and exciting. I can’t help but fall for romances featuring men in some sort of uniform and this one delivered in spades.

I cannot get enough of Kathleen Brooks. I've read all her series countless times and can't get enough. If I'm having a hard time or I miss my family since I live so far away the Bluegrass series makes me feel like I'm home.

I always try to finish a book once I begin, but I could hardly wait till this one was done. It is so predictable and yet so unrealistic with the entire townsfolk being FBI, police or DEA agents or sharpshooters, etc. The lead female character was annoying. She had a PhD but was immature and acted like a silly school girl and supposedly had this great connection with her dog but had no clue when her dog growled visciously everytime he saw a certain person....Two stars for a cutesy romance but lame terrorist plot, open physical abuse (little old ladies beating everyone with brooms or spoons), and for just being a ridiculous little town where everyone is gloriously happy and knows all your business.
