Georgia--Part One

Georgia is a trilogy. In Part One some of the central underlying social tensions are set out and explored. The equilibrium of Varner's Junction, a small town in Southeastern Georgia in the early twentieth century is disturbed when a foundling is delivered to the principal property owner, Samuel Beauchay.
