Just when I thought Ednah could not possibly top Heros (Eirik #2) she did! She did that amazing thing again where she combined 3 different books & made the story AMAZING! We finally get the answers we've been waiting for that started with Demons (Eirik #1) and continued in Heros. While Eirik & Celestia's love blossoms & Celestia discovers more about her abilities, Goddess Hel does some changing too. It was wonderful to see the changes in her as she finally opened her heart. There is some major shock & awe in this book folks! SHOCK & AWE!!! You will love the twists. This was a wonderful conclusion to Eirik & Celestia's story and I know we'll still see them in the conclusion to Torin & Raine's journey. I can not sing Ednah's praises enough. She has done amazing things with this series. If you haven't started any of the Runes series I urge you to do so ASAP! Recommended for ages 16 & up. Mild to moderate sexual situations & adult content.

In the third and final story of Celestia and Eirik, Gods, we find the couple on a road to serious romance and possibly a lifetime together. Of course, that road has to, at times, get bumpy along the way. Celestia has a hidden talent that even she doesn't know how to control. However, there are others, who would give just about anything to have her (and her talent) on their team. Things become interesting when Celestias mother (who abandoned her years earlier) decides she wants to make up to her daughter for all the years she wasn't around. There are those however who believe that her mother has other more sinister motives in mind. What will happen between Celestia and her mother? Will Celestia grab on and hold to the mother who deserted her years before? Or will she keep a safe distance and guard her heart? In true fashion, Ednah Walters has written yet another in her continuing saga of the Runes series, with a flair for creativity and more than an ounce of fantasy. The worlds she has created in this series the reader can imagine it to be as real as everyday living. Her characters are young yet wise. They know what they want and how to go about getting it. I enjoyed all these books right up through Eirik book 3 Gods. A big 5 star rating from this reader.

we need more stars available lol I was given this book as an ARC and WOW!!! Just amazing. I am so stunned and speechless about this book. I cried a couple times, laughed a few more, blown away by the ending. I had a feeling that Cora was Eirik’s sister aka Enmyria, but I was not sure. Then omg, Mr. Romantic, Devyn. I wish I could just hug him. This was so brilliant Ednah, you have truly outdone yourself. I have never been speechless when it came to a book or series, but you nailed me with this one… Anyone who hasn’t started the series, so needs to because you won’t regret it. Love it so much… beautiful… Ah and Marguerite I hope she and her 3 brats who I for one thought were norns rot on Corpse Strand. I had hope she wouldn’t really be evil still when she was being all motherly, but am glad Cele seen right through it. #TeamEiristia  hah xo

Where do I even begin? For weeks now I've been in a bad reading slump not even Harry, Ron and Hermione could help me and anyone who knows me knows I'm a HUGE Potterhead. This time though it was Eirik and Celestia who brought me out of my funk. Ednah Walters and her Runes characters to the rescue lol. From start to finish I was consumed, these stories will do that to you. Like always Ednah had me on the edge of my seat a few times with added twists and turns you're not expecting, makes putting down the book for RL things so much more harder. It is sad that Eirik's story is now finished but I look forward to any more books Ednah releases in the Runes series, it ain't all over yet. Whoop!! ^_^ So if you're looking for an action packed, fun, love smitten story with characters you'll just treasure for life then I highly recommend picking up and reading this book. If you want to start all the way from the beginning then Runes is what you want. Brilliant as always, Ednah!

This book couldn’t have ended more perfectly. In the last book of Eirik’s story everything came together in perfection. Ednah did an amazing job with “Gods”, the conclusion of Eirik’s story. Eirik and Celestia become stronger as they work together and can overcome anything thrown their way. The supporting characters that are in all the Runes books really grew stronger in this story and I loved watching their character’s growth. The depth of their characters help make this story fantastic. The story line keeps you on your toes and you will be awed by the surprises. The overall story was perfection. Thank you Ednah for another amazing read.

Absolutely Brilliant! Ms. Walters' writing has once again blown me away. From the rich descriptions of not only the characters themselves, but also their thoughts and feelings, to the emotion filled twists in the story's journey, I was did not want this story to end. I read this book in one sitting as I could not put it down (I will not admit to growling at my children when they interrupted). I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves YA Paranormal Romance with a Norse Mythology base.

I would strongly suggest reading the first three books of the Runes series, then the first two Eirik books before this one. Eiriks books run alongside the timeline of the remaining Runes books. That being said, this is my favorite book so far in the series. Ednah Walters has an amazing ability to write her characters in a way that I couldn't help but fall in love with them. When reading these stories, I saw everything that happened in my head and I felt everything that the characters felt. This book, the whole series actually, played on the entire range of emotions for me. I think the conclusion of Eirik and Celestia's story was perfect, though I am sad this is their last book. Though I eagerly anticipate their appearance in the future Runes books. And I am anxious to see what happens with certain other characters in the next book. I don't want to give too much away, but certain secrets were revealed in this book and they will likely be followed up on in the next book, Goddess, when it is released. I can't wait to read it.

Awesome book! Once again Ednah Walters weaved an action-packed and intriguing tale that was impossible to put down. Gods is the third and last book in the companion series set in Norse mythology. It’s part of the Runes Universe and offers incredible insight into numerous scenes in the other books. This series can be read without reading the rest of the Runes books, but the reader would be missing out on a truly awesome series. The entire series, including the companion books flow together extremely well and provide a detailed story that is completely interconnected. Heroes has the same timeline as Witches. It’s cool to see things explained in Gods that I wondered about in Witches. Gods wraps up the adventures of Eirik, a Norse God who is destined to rule the nine realms after Ragnarok. Eirik is the grandson of Odin, the ruler of the nine realms, and is the son of Baulder, God of Light and Hel, ruler of Helheim. After the events of Heroes, the second book in the companion series, Eirik is determined to put his family back together, fight for the love of his life, Celestia, and beat the interfering Norns who destroyed his family. He is also faced with protecting his friends and figure out a few mysteries. Celestia, a witch from Louisiana, has sacrificed everything to help Eirik, and is now faced with a new set of challenges of her own. She must discover a whole new life with her gorgeous Norse God and figure out what is going on before it’s too late. Eirik and Celestia have TONS of chemistry throughout the book that kept things interesting. It is awesome to see how they interact and banter. They are the perfect balance for each other. Gods is full of adventure and suspense that draws the reader into the story to feel everything the characters are experiencing. The characters in this series are incredible and so very well developed. They each have very distinct and unique personalities that make you want to be friends with them. I LOVE Hel. She is so awesome and I like how she has grown as a character and a mother. It was awesome to see her softer and playful side. I loved her relationship with Celestia. This book was awesome from beginning to end and I HATE that the companion series is now over. I need more from these characters and I’m so sad that they will not have another book. I am looking forward to see them in the next Runes book. This book and series shouldn’t be missed.

Gods is the third companion book to the Runes Series, and you could read on it own but I strongly recommend to read them all, as I promise, you will love them as much as I do! Unfortunately it is the last book about our soon to be ruler of all realms Eirik and amazing, energetic and spunky, powerful witch Celestia as well as their friends and family. Worth mentioning is underworld ruler Goddess Hel who is an amazing and complex character. Great talent and unbelievable imagination of one and only Ednah Walters takes us in amazing journey through all realms making us feel all sorts of emotions reminding me of a roller-coaster, but boy, you will enjoy the ride! I love how this story blends in with Runes Series and how you find out about facts which left you kind of wondering in other books running alongside this one. This is an amazing conclusion to Eirik story and I didn't wanted to end ever!

Ednah Walters has done it again! Gods is an amazing book with all the twists and turns, all of the oh my god I hate this/these character(s) or I absolutely love this/these character(s) and even the parts that make you want to cry. If you have read all of the other books in the Runes series this book fills in all the parts you had wondered about in Souls. It left me in awe I couldn't get enough I even cried here and there. This book is definitely worth the read you won't regret it!

Even the Norns could not weave all the plotlines in her Runes world as well as Ednah Walters does! In the conclusion to the Eirik Baldurson spin-off series, I giggled, swooned, was moved to tears, and could not be more happily astounded at the resolution to all the challenges in Eirik’s mission to find and unite his family. This book starts with Eirik, with the help of his spunky Witch from Midgard Celestia, having saved his sister from his Crazy Granny, but something is off about her. And the manipulation and twisted web of lies Angrboda built for years is still tangling around Eirik, Celestia and their family and friends. The mysteries are still rampant, and the dangers and emotional traumas abundant. Once again Walters has dragged my heart along in her twisted, surprising tales. There is a lot of character development, interaction and emotional growth in Gods that had me falling even harder for caring, protective Eirik and brave, righteous Celestia and their families (friends and relatives alike). Walters always writes in a descriptive and smooth way as she unfolds action and conflicts that keep me happily wrapped up in her craftily interwoven Ednahland. An enthralling wrap-up to this Runes companion trilogy!

Wow! Honestly all I can really say!! Eirik and Celestia have became my favorite rune couple!! Celestia doesn't let anyone bring her down not even her crazy psycho mother. Eirik man isn't he dreamt I love how he always wants to protect Celestia. He could care less if he got hurt. This book was amazing! I honestly didn't want to put it down but life got in the way and I had too. It made me laugh, cry, and scream but what final book doesn't. I love how all the books finally tied in at the end. Another great book Ednah!! So sad that Eirik and Celestia's book is over but can't wait to see more of them!

We met Eirik long ago in Runes. His and Celestia’s story began in Demons and move into Heroes and now we’re in Gods. The transformation he took from Runes to Gods is amazing. He grew from the best friend, sweetheart of a guy, who really wasn’t someone you’d count on in a fight. You knew he’d have your back, but he was more of a cuddler and a hug guy, than a guy who’d defend you, into this demon fighting bada$$ of a guy. And Celestia, well she’s been amazing from the beginning. She doesn’t let him get his way with his winsome smiles or charming ways. She stands firm on what she knows and what she is ok with. But this slow burn between them has turned into a raging inferno. For what people complained about in the Demons (they didn’t even kiss, y’all!), you cannot complain about in this one. The tension is thick, the love is ever present, and the mystery gets solved. But don’t think it is cut and dry, oh contraire mon frere! There are plot twists and turns you never knew was coming. It’ll sit you back and make you think, THEN you’ll see the lightbulb go off on top of your head. There are hints to future books. I won’t spoil those for you. Just keep your eyes peeled. Ms. Walters completely owns my heart with the books in Eirik’s story. There’s nothing more I can say. So, would I recommend this book? This series… OH yes, if you like your bookmen to be swoon-worthy and protective and sweet and charming and loyal…oh yes. If you like your bookwomen to be fierce, independent, loyal, and understanding…oh YES!

This book is truly Amazing, Ednah Walters has out done herself yet again. Eirik aka Dragon and Celestia are great together but in this book they must overcome challenges that may tear them apart.. Many questions are answered in Gods related to previous Books in the Runes series. Gods is Eirik and Celestias last book and is truly an emotional Journey, you are latterly crying on second and laughing the next! Pretty much all of the characters from the entire series makes an appearance. All the characters are well written and have depth. You can visualize the entire book as you read it. This book is on fire, you will definitely want to read it!!!

I'm crying. I am seriously, undoubtedly crying. This wasn't just beautiful - it was a masterpiece! Nobody who's read her books could ever dreamed of arguing that Ednah isn't a super talented author, and she just proves it again, and again, and again. Eirik and Celestia's story comes to an epic conclusion in this book, and I have to say that it definitely fits. There was just so, so much action and suspense and thrills! Roller coaster would never even come close to describing this. I was literally on the edge of my seat, using every single ounce of my self control to prevent my excited self from screaming/squealing/gasping/reacting loudly and vocally. At several points in the story, I actually had to just put the book down and take a couple of (or several) moments to absorb what had just happened. This story was gorgeous. All of the pain, all of the heartbreak, all of the difficulty - every single freaking thing was totally and completely worth it. Now that Eirik and Celestia finally have a happy ending, it seriously makes you wonder just what exactly the rest of the characters are in for in the coming books. I can't wait for Ragnarok! You definitely have to buy every single book in this series to see what happens next.
