An easy to read well paced depiction of a combat pilots experience in Vietnam. I am active duty Navy and have done three deployments with Marine infantry so it was very interesting to read from a pilots perspective.

Although I was not a pilot I did experience Camp Wolters as my dad went through flight school there. From there we went to ft rucker. Yes I still remember watching pilots learn to fly a helicopter and some of the funniest take offs and landings. This book is just great as it does tell the life of helicopter pilot. God bless each and every one, from the gunship, slick and dust off pilots. Thank you.
