To be alive in dark skin as a woman is the hardest thing I've had to do. Misogynoir, systemic racism, trauma imposed by racist adults have stripped me of luxury of being aloof. I, like many other black people, have been forced to hyper aware of my blackness from a young age. Rarely do I have a chance to share my experiences without coming across as aggressive.
