Overview

Haven by Karen Lynch

Things are going well for Roland Greene. High school is behind him, he has a sweet new ride, a good job, and he's making plans for his future. At eighteen, he's one of the strongest werewolves in his pack, and he already has more vampire kills than most wolves have in a lifetime. Life is good. Almost.

It's time for the annual pack gathering. Wolves from all over Maine come to take care of pack business and socialize - and to find mates. Everywhere Roland turns there are unmated females, and as the Alpha's nephew, he's prime mate material. The last thing he wants right now is a mate, and he'll do all he can to stay a free wolf.

Until he meets her.

Was so great seeing the wolves settle and find happiness in their lives! As well as her very own special, happy ending.

Haven is such beautiful story between Roland and Emma. Lynch has created this whole world, full of these awesome characters. Roland is probably one of my favorite characters. He's funny, genuine, and brave. With Emma, she's hiding her past from everyone but it doesn't stop the connection she has with Roland. At the end of this, I had this feeling that Roland and Emma's story wasn't finished. I wanna see what happens after! Maybe.. someday Lynch will continue their story. The narration was perfect. Zachary Webber has quickly become one of my favorite narrators. As well as, Caitlin. This has been by the far, the best audiobooks I've listened to. I was so enthralled by this story. Really the whole series. Now, what do I listen to? Overall, of course, its Five Boundless Stars from. I can't wait for the next one in this series!

Once again the author doesn't disappiont. You can't help but admire Roland. He has grown so much since the series started. You see the impact Sara has had on him and his view of the world. The thing I like most about this book was the amount of interaction between him and emma. I feel that was lacking some in Nickolas and Sara's story. I guess that's why I want more of there story.

This book was amazing! Roland was so dreamy and strong - you see a new side to him. It had adventure and romance and some fun cameos - if you love Karen Lynch, you'll love this book!

I have read every book in this series and have always had a soft spot for Roland. Five books into the series and the author continues to find the perfect pace to the story. Carefully developed characters are delivered in a unique, rich world with the humor expected of the series. The author's skill in weaving the new story with the world and characters already in place is incomparable. Reading this installation felt like coming home and the anticipation felt pre-release was not misplaced. The storytelling style is familiar but still refreshing. I need more of this series! I highly recommend this book and series to anyone who enjoys YA Paranormal Romance.

Great story. Here we see the story of Roland after all that happen with Sara and Nikolas. Roland meet this girl which as a past that she is hidden. Roland don't want to find a mate he want to enjoy life before it happens. But his wolf find his girl, is she's going to accept him or her past will separated them. To find out you have to read it. We see some glimpse of Sara and Nikolas. Of course Sara will keep contact with her best friend Roland. Some other characters from Relentless series will appear in here. Grab your copy and see what is on Roland's future. I hope we can read more about Roland and his girl as well as Nikolas and Sara. Cant wait for her next book that is about Chris!!!!

I'm going to be honest, I was not looking forward to Haven. The only reason I read it was because I've loved Karen's other books. Boy am I glad I did! Haven is amazing, and I almost, if not completely, love it more than the Relentless Series! DO NOT pass this book up!

Haven was a wonderful addition to the Relentless series! I absolutely loved Roland's story and I always dreamed of reading more about him and the wolf pack in Maine and my dreams came true. Highly recommend all the books in this series, and it would be best to read the trilogy before reading Haven. Nothing better than getting back into the Relentless world, and having so many fabulous characters make an appearance! Roland had done his best to avoid pack gatherings whenever he could in the past, mostly to avoid the unmated females. However, now he has graduated high school and has aged into a mature wolf, his presence is mandatory to be around for most of the gathering. As pack politics are changing Roland needs to be there even if he doesn't wish to be. As a maturing wolf, most are trying to be mated, even as Roland tries his best to avoid this outcome, sometimes nature can be a beast! I love this character driven story, and I love learning so much more about the pack and their governance. This is a a slow burn romance, which I adore, and it was full of surprises. My only issue was that I wanted more. I thought the ending was tied up nicely but a little rushed. I definitely wanted more of that awesomeness. Roland has found his mate and his place and even though I don't think we will get another story, Karen Lynch could probably write a trilogy just for him!

Karen Lynch has written 5 novels so far. And I have loved all of them. Definitely an auto-buy author. Werewolf adorableness abounds.

Oh. My. Roland. Must read for fans of the series - this has LOTS of cameos, and obviously features an awesome protagonist. As usual, Karen flawlessly mixes humor and romance to create a supernatural, yet relatable, story. Before this book, I thought Roland was a great guy but not quite mature enough. This book definitely fills in the gaps and really lets you get inside his head. Now instead of a fun, hot friend, he's another example of mate material (that sound like a good hashtag for him ;)!). The love interest in this book was a little bit of a surprise (read closely and you may guess who it is beforehand), but overall it was easy to just dive right in. I'm a little sad this is just a standalone book, instead of a real journey like Sara's books, but I think it held its own. Hoping to see more of these characters in future books too!

Reading Haven was like settling in with old friends. What a joy to see more of that world open up as we dig deep into Roland's story. This was a big expect the unexpected book, and it kept me on the edge of my seat to watch Roland react, realize, understand and deal with life and situations that came from unexpected areas. Ms. Lynch is a master at weaving such an incredible tale and this did not disappoint!

I absolutely loved Haven!! It was great getting back into the Relentless world; it feels like being with old friends. I also loved getting into Roland's head. He has grown up so much. He is extremely powerful, yet selfless and unassuming. I admire how Karen Lynch has made the characters in Haven very different and unique from past characters, and I enjoyed delving into their secrets, even though it was hard and emotional at times. I really like how Haven is it's own book. It doesn't follow the same pattern, with tons of action, that we were introduced to in Sara and Nikolas' story. I loved the slower pace. Thank you Karen Lynch for a well written, fabulous book! Time to reread!

This book, and series, should be considered Upper YA due to some mature content. Since Roland Greene was introduced in Relentless, I have wanted to read a book about him. I am very happy that Haven gives him a voice. His story is well written and thoroughly developed. This book is character driven. The growth of the main players creates a very appealing story arc. Most of the characters are likeable, though there are a few that are truly despicable. Those truly villainous characters drive most of the cause and effect of the plot. The main characters are loveable, relatable, and they grow in complexity over the course of the book. Roland’s story is well written and thoroughly developed, with a pleasantly surprising plot. The book has a good flow. Lynch has authored a very engaging novel that adds yet another flavor to the Relentless Series.

This book is filled with surprises that you don't see coming. Roland who is terrified of being mated, he has so many questions that he just doesn't want to take a chance. He meets a girl and his world unravels. Could she be the one could they get past their differences? I absolutely love this book, it has all the feels that you can imagine. Lots of surprises are in-store for the reader. Highly recommend this book it is an awesome read.

I’m speechless with this book!! Roland is one of my favorite supporting characters from the Relentless trilogy. To read his story in itself was an excitement for me but I’m blown away with how good his story was. I loved getting to see how life is in the Knolls – where Roland and his pack lives. It was so interesting to see how their annual pack gatherings were. Also, I enjoyed seeing how much Roland has matured since the last time we read about him six months earlier in the story. He has really grown into a man. What a treat to learn more about Roland’s mate too. What a surprise and so I’m not spoiling I will not name his mate. Roland’s mate was a victim in her dark past and is trying to recover in the peaceful town of New Hastings. Her story was incredible to read. Her healing and growth felt as real to me as if I was experiencing it. I loved the direction author, Karen Lynch took in joining Roland and his mate together. I highly recommend this book, “Haven” by Karen Lynch. I will say you will definitely want to read the Relentless trilogy first, as you will follow the story a lot better. But you wouldn’t have to. Karen does a great job reintroducing the characters so Haven could be a standalone.

Haven is the 5rh book of the Relentless Series. This is Roland's story after helping Sarah find her mother and to track down the Master. Roland finally finish high school. Has a new car, a good job and has plans for the future. The only bad thing is, it's time for the annual pack gathering and he was already told that he has to be there. Roland has been avoid going to the pack gathering for years, wanting to stay single and not have to deal with a mate. Come and join us on Roland's latest adventure! I've learned a lot of the pack dynamics, had great laughs on Roland's antics when he meets "her". This is a must read. You won't regret it and will have a hard time putting the book down once you start!!

Omg omg omg! I have been waiting on this book for so long and all I can say is ah-mazing!!!! I loved reading about our favorite werewolves especially Roland. I loved reading about how they find there mate. Poor Roland didn't want one but in the end he was happy. This book made me laugh and some parts you can't help but almost cry. I highly recommend reading this book if you have read the rest of the Relentless series!
