This book, Healing Spices by Instructables.com and Nicole Smith has so many great ideas with herbs and spices. I love natural ingredients to bring out the flavor, verse using salt. Plus, using them to help improve my health is also a bonus! Herbs and spices really do taste great, especially garlic, cinnamon, cayenne, chili powder and many others. I sometimes could use more spices and tell myself at least if I don't take a vitamin, I'm getting it from these herbs and spices. I mean they are packed with nutrition you may need and don't get from everyday food. So not only is this book a great reference to the healing properties, but you will learn a lot more about what nutrition they can provide you as well! Plus, with the recipes inside, you can find some nutritious dishes to put on the table for the family or yourself easily! I think you could call me a spice lover because I load my dishes with all different types. They are just so tasty and add flavor, plus with the beneficial healing properties, it's terrific! This book really helps guide you through the special properties of these herbs and spices, with their antioxidant and nutritious aspects as well! You can use this as many herbal books and figure out how to care for whatever ails you. It's really a great book and useful all year round! Finally, I love the types mentioned in this book, which is mainly the types I use often and many of us already do!
