Overview

Mallaine Dirgess fell from grace long ago, much to the chagrin of his godmother, Magdalena Godsend. Inexplicable shudders occur whenever Mallaine confronts demure earth angel Cecily Stratton, throwing off his confidence as a havoc-wreaker and soul stealer. Unable to control his forbidden feelings for Cecily, and hoping to outwit The Boss, his devilish employer, Mallaine sequesters himself in an ice cave. The constant cold cannot suppress the divine magnetism between Mallaine and Cecily, and it will take a battle between the forces of heaven and hell to save them. Serving a sentence in heaven for his trespasses, Mallaine wishes only for his life to return to how it was before he had met Cecily. If only he could shake that shudder.

Caro Karlsson graduated from Florida State University where she earned a Bachelor’s in Fashion Design. She later earned a Masters of Science in e-Business at the University of Maryland University College (now UMGC) where she gained membership in The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. Caro works in the Washington, D.C. area in online travel technology as a principal program manager and holds a chapter officer position with the Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoys her cats, gardening, photography and volunteering, and she has traveled across the USA, in the Caribbean, and Europe.
