Hope's Heart (Mature): A Dance of Light and Shadow

The heart was in site, but her path was blocked by a giant white fox with piercing blue eyes, and to her left, she saw a giant purple panther with glowing purple eyes. She heard a foreign voice in her mind, "So you are the child of light, you are the hope of this world. You are much younger then we expected." The voice was silent, then she heard a second voice, "Are you strong enough child? Can you defeat us both?"
