Another great short story to fill in the time until the next novel comes out. Just what you would expect if you have been reading the series. More indepth back story of a character. Love how you get to read from all the various points of view. As I have said before my favorite thing is that this is not a trilogy!!!!! You have time for the story to develop and it is not rushed to conclude. Hoping there are many more volumes in store!!!!

This is a great novella on the inside story of Five, and how he came to be 'different' from the other garde. Also, a great lead-in to the newest I Am Number Four novel: The Revenge Of Seven.

I love all the books but wish this one was a little better. I would have liked to read Fives back story from when the mogs sent him to infiltrate the others up until they went to the everglades. This book gave a lot of information we already knew from the other book about 5.
