About the Author

Matt O’Brien is a weight loss expert, fitness
industry consultant, and best-selling author
of The Magic Pill. He is a Certified Strength
and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S.) and an
inspirational Coach who leads his clients at
TrYumph Fitness and Nutrition by example.

Matt received his Bachelor of Science degree
in Biology from the United States Air Force
Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Matt began personal training professionally
in 1997 in New York City and has trained
corporate executives, television personalities,
high fashion models, professional athletes,
and most importantly, lots of amazing,
everyday people seeking results.

For the past 15 years, he has been perfecting weight loss programs that actually work
in the “real world...” In 2006, Matt created the Body Trans4mations system to help his
personal training clients lose weight fast and keep it off. In 2011, Matt raised the bar and took weight loss to the next level with the 28in28 Program. Using 28in28, the first test group of normal weight individuals lost an average of 14.2 pounds in 28 days. When the program was tested on overweight and
obese volunteers, the average weight loss was over 23 pounds in 28 days!

In 2018, he launched his Ketogenic Induction Stupid Simple (KISS) Program to make
weight loss realistic and sustainable. 80% of his program participants lost significant
weight and reported more energy and motivation. In 2020, Matt is once again taking
things another step forward with the IF28 and follow-on FLEX42 programs,
combining the best of 28in28, KISS, and his proven intermittent fasting protocol into
one amazing hybrid program!
