This collection of poetry portrays images of daily life. The poems herein reflect the journeys of families and the individuals that comprise them. The poems bring awareness to our own experiences.
It is the author's intent to create inspired images that reflect ordinary life. The author draws upon interactions with her children, her parents, and her environment. She views the mundane actions of daily life from the first cup of morning coffee to choosing spring plants from the neighboring greenhouse. The author takes the reader through phases of life, in her children as they grow, and in her parents as she sees them age. The author sees herself and her surroundings weave in and among these intimate and fundamental relationships. There are elements of growth, loss and hope as the author participates in her family's life. These simple moments place us in time, they become our own life.
