Read Incubation first then just finished Incineration and now I'm on to Regeneration. The trilogy is great. Sometimes I've read the first book in a series and the story fizzles out in the second...NOT the case here! Can't wait to start book 3. I'd like to see more in the series I've enjoyed them so much. They're supposed to be geared to teen/young adult but....I'm 50+ and still really enjoy them. I usually don't compare one author to another but in this case I will. The series reminds me a lot of the Divergent books. It would be interesting to see movie plans for this one too. Thank you for writing such enjoyable books. Look forward to reading more from you!

This is one of those can't put down series of books that you want to gobble up on a weekend. There was no hesitation of weather or not to purchase the next book. You just have to, it's that good! I highly recommend.

Read all three in 48 hours and that was after starting the first half - heartedly because I received the first book for free and was just looking for something to read after finishing several books I loved. Found three more winners!

Book 2 delivers! This second installment of the Incubation Trilogy tracks Everly, our escapee/traitor/scientist/teenager, as she makes her way in the raw world of Amerada. She celebrates her seventeenth birthday in a jail cell while awaiting her trial and inevitable death only to escape and rejoin some of her former companions in the Defiance. She believes in the goals of Amerada, to defeat the deadly locusts and repopulate the earth. But what she sees outside of the Domes challenges her ethics and morals. In this episode, Everly finds some of the answers that have plagued her and finally realizes what side she is on in this deadly civil struggle. The character evolves as she travels between the two worlds of the elite and the rebels: she can no longer be the naïve scientist. The machinations of those around her are well plotted and clever. It’s good to have a few “reveals” at this point in the story. I suspect more will follow in the final book of the trilogy. This is a terrific YA book, but I, as an adult reader, am truly enjoying it. I would readily recommend this to my junior and senior high school students in a flash. So looking forward the final installment!
