Ms. Kingfisher lives in North Carolina with her husband, garden, and disobedient pets. Using Scrivener only for e-books, she chisels the bulk of her drafts into the walls of North Carolina's ancient & plentiful ziggurats. She is fond of wombats and sushi, but not in the same way.

A great collection of stories, several I'd already read online, but it's wonderful to have them all in one place, and there are a few new treats as well. Wide range of stories, from lighthearted to near horror.
Great stories! I'd read several of them online originally, but I love the trend of gathering them together into collections; it's much easier for me to read and keep up with them that way. Anyway, lots of fun short stories -- some funny, some dark, always thoughtful and full of down-to-earth sensibilities.
