I am drawn to murder mysteries and cookie recipes and so was excited to read this book. Found it to be OK, not great. Did not find it good enough to recommend it to anyone.

Really cute culinary mystery set in Paris! the macaron recipes in the back sound yummy. addicted to this series.

I found this ninety nine cent, 90 page book boring and very predictable. AD

The thinnest of plots, contrived conflicts, emotionally stunted characters, and a flimsy mystery. Add in the usual slew of grammatical errors and typos and you end up with a book that might work for a ninth grade creative writing class, but not as the cute and clever mystery it seems to be aiming for.

It ends kind of abruptly

Slightly shaky start but overall a fun read. I really like Clémence, she feels very realistic. The recipes are a fun bonus :)

Very enjoyable reading. Wish it was a longer read.

Could possibly be decent with some character developement, more discriptive writing, a sensible plot, and better narrative voice - in other words, just about everything! Who really cares about recipes you'll never make! It's a shame that one star is the least you can post

I could only read 40 pages. It was very juvenile and predictable. The most interesting thing in this is the recipes.

Author info. This is not a novel but a short story. It is also not well written nor are the charscters interesting no one seems french at all but from a movie made in usa with english actors not good enough to pay for doubt if can be borrowed as is probabky e book only

I have tried more than once to read this and it is just so dry and boring. I usually love mysteries like this, but this one just did not hold my interest

A very short story, more desserts, not particularly interesting. The murder and the "detective" are both ho-hum.

I bought this for my daughter because she likes macaroons so I haven't read it. I will say it was delivered in good condition and the art work is very nice on the cover.
