Marked For Them by Lia Davis

Hiding out in a mental institution isn't glamorous. But I call it surviving.

I'm blissfully unaware of the world outside thanks to the hospital's walls-and spell-that hide me. Until a ghost shows up, talking about his friends being marked by a demon. But not just any demon. The same one who marked me and wants me dead.

My father.

Fearful that Daddy Dearest could be my next uninvited guess, I choose to follow the ghost to his four very alive friends. To my relief, they want Salrus dead just as much as I do. What I'm not prepared for is finding out that Zane-the alpha wolf shifter-is my mate, and the demon mark links the six of us-ghost included-together on a deeper level than I ever imagined.

Teaming up and preparing to face the demon stirs up passion and dark secrets none of us are really ready to face.

Overall rating: 5 Book one is perfection! The reverse harem scenario is in place with each character having their own unique place in the mix. The antagonist is out there, making the suspense and danger build quite expertly. This author did wonders allowing we readers to feel the dread, turmoil and anguish each character feels towards the uncertain future they faced. There is a cliffhanger, precisely place right where a reader is most wanting more which we know was done purposely. Oh the cruelty! Seeking out that evil book two now.

Marked for Them is a PNR/Reverse Harem story. Our heroine is a ½ demon ½ witch hybrid. She has been hiding out in an insane asylum since shortly after her father killed her mother. Now she’s been found and a ghost leads her to temporary safety and four other guys. The world building is great and it was fun getting to know the guys but I felt this story required a longer book. The author handles it by leaving us with a cliff hanger ending which I hate but I love knowing we are going to get the rest of the story and more time with the guys.
