Masterful Truth by Mari Carr, Lila Dubois

An heir to a powerful secret. A writer whose story began with an illicit affair. A man incapable of love.

Tess Hamilton is proud of her family's history, but being a descendant of one of the founding fathers and a member of the Trinity Masters--America's oldest and most powerful secret society--has had its drawbacks. A historian at the Smithsonian, Tess enjoys her quiet life. So when the Grand Master tells her not only is the society in danger, but Tess must marry two very different, very sexy men, she knows her calm existence has come to an end.

Isaiah Jefferson makes his living writing thrillers that keep readers on the edge of their seats, but he never expected to become part of a real-life plot. When the Grand Master calls him to the altar to meet his spouses, he's tasked with solving a that turns out to be just as dangerous as anything he could ever write.

The future of the Trinity Masters hangs in the balance, but there is hope if this new, fragile triad can solve the centuries-old mystery. The founders of their society kept a secret--a piece of information so deadly, it could be used to protect them in times of crisis. But Tess, Isaiah, and their dangerous third aren't the only ones following the trail. And their enemies are prepared to kill for the secrets they're uncovering.

I love these books and this world. I'm really glad to see Caden have his HEA. Tess and Isaiah are fabulous and perfect for him. I laughed out loud!

I received an ARC in exchange of an honest review... I found this book to be extremely exhilarating and titillating. It is almost like reading a historical novel but it is set in today's time period. It has menage elements and BDSM but not in the typical fashion most are used to. A very fast paced read that will not let you down.

Fan's of the TRINITY MASTERS will not be disappointed! Mari and Lila did a magnificent job bringing this series to an end. Every page, every character was perfectly written in true romantic suspense style. The turmoil and struggle was brilliant from the word go. This will always be a re-read series for me.

Just when you think the mystery is solved, the plot thickens. This is one of the best series out there. Amazing characters. Amazing plots. HEAs. I also love the crossovers into the McKay, Tagart series and the BDSM checklist series. I recommend all three series. Start at the beginning, you don't want to miss anything. Happy Reading:)

A brilliant book that just draws you in and at time spits you out with information overload, that is how intense the writing is in this book Once again a trinity has been formed and must perform its duties according to the grand master and the trinity this time consists of Tess Hamilton, Isaiah Jefferson and Caden Anderson, Caden is enveloped by hi dark past but with the help of his two partners will he get a chance to start again. This book covers every emotion that you could expect and then some extra's but I would recommend that you read the entire series to get the full depth of the story. i was given an ARC copy of this book but this is a true and honest review

Another super addition to the Trinity Masters series I have just loved these books and this one did not disappoint.I cannot believe this is the end of the series while it can be read as a standalone if you have not read the previous books I would recommend them first for me the series definitely needs to be read n order.A super read with plenty of action and twists and turns I really enjoyed it and did not want to put it down. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

If you want a book or a series of books that is full of mystery as well as as as well written storyline. The Trinity Master series is one I can highly recommend. Each book is not only a mystery but it is also about a triad or two. In this one we learn more about things that happened in in previous books ( but you are cool if you have not read them) as well as the crossover new series Masters' Admiralty. Caden, Isaiah and Tess being a bought a different feeling to this book and I am so happy to see the end that I did. What a well written book, check series from a set of authors who write as one person. If you have not read this series yet, and you like a good mystery with erotica touches then this series is for you to explore

Another great book in the Trinity series. It is an advantage to have read previous book in the series, but it is a great story even when read on it's own. Isaiah Jefferson, Tess Hamilton and Caden Anderson are a new trinity created by Juliette to help solve a puzzle that might give the Trinity Masters the information needed to fight off their enemies. Caden has a tortured back story that makes it difficult for him to feel comfortable in his trinity. Can his mates help him overcome his past? Can they survive and find the information the Trinity Masters urgently need? I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Masterful Truth By Mari Carr and Lila DuBois The Trinity Master’s have a problem with the Master’s Admiralty that dates back to the American Revolution and was escalated during WWII. The new Trinity’s task is to find out what happened between the two secret societies using a poem as a clue and use this information against The Admiralty. Two members of this Trinity can trace their lineage back to Hamilton and Jefferson while the third member is a surprise. Tess Hamilton is a historian, Isaiah Jefferson is a thriller writer and the third member is Caden Anderson. Caden had a horrific life growing up in a Purist household. As a result, he is emotionally shut off. Can this Trinity live long enough to find the truth? Can it even survive? Will they be able to decipher the poem and find out what happened between the Trinity Masters and the Master’s Admiralty? These questions were all answered in the final book in this series. I have to say that this was probably one of my favorite books in this series. It had me on an emotional rollercoaster. Caden wasn’t very likable in the other books due to his upbringing. Throughout this book, he tries to stay emotionally detached from the rest of his Trinity because he believes himself to be a monster, but they refuse to let him. While dark in some spots, there is still some humor in this book. Everywhere they go, people comment on Isaiah’s books. Caden constantly ask. “am I the only one who hasn’t read them?” I also enjoyed the nod to Mari Carr’s Wild Irish series, Lila Dubois’ Checklist series, and Ian Taggert from Lexi Blake’s Masters and Mercenaries series. While sad to see the series end, I am happy with the way the authors concluded it. I highly recommend this book

I don't even know where to start with this review. First and foremost these two ladies have created world that you are drawn into and captivated by. This means that you just want to keep reading more and more. And this story is no different for the first Chapter (I actually had to put the book down and step away coz of all the information that I had to proccess) to the last they hold you captivated and wanting more more more. I can't say anything else without giving it away so I'm just going to say read this book.

Mari Carr and Lila Dubois saved the best for last to solve the mystery of the Purists and their role in the Trinity Masters and Masters' Admiralty worlds. Masterful Truth is fast paced, suspenseful, full of witty dialog, and emotionally charged scenes as the newly formed triad juggle getting to know one another and how to support each other all the while trying to discover and reveal the secrets of the Purists and connections to the Masters' Admiralty. Although each book in the Trinity Masters series can be read as a stand-alone, the series is best enjoyed when read in order. Mari Carr and Lila Dubois certainly brought it and went big with Masterful Truth.

Absolutely fantastic ending (to this series...but I think it's really not! lol)...I could not put this book down and never wanted it to end!!! Nobody writes like Mari Carr and Lila Dubois together!!! Many twists and turns and "history" mixed into an action packed book. I definitely wanted more but then I always do when I read their books! If you haven't read this series, please do, you will never put it down. This book makes you heart race, break and get put back together...READ THIS!!!

This is a fabulous series, and I've read each book multiple times. But this book was beyond amazing! I think the best out of the entire series. It was a perfect blend of the writing styles of the two writers. There were so many surprises, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading. I'm not going to go in to too much detail, because I don't want to spoil the fun of the story, but readers are going to go nuts for this book. This book was full of suspense and mystery; surprises around every corner make it one that you'll not be soon forgetting. The trinity faces obstacles, both within themselves and from an unknown enemy, just like in previous books, but Masterful Truth went beyond that. I found myself laughing at times, and almost in tears at other times, because of the intense emotions of the book. The characters were so real, that I felt like they were friends by the end of the book! While this book could probably be read on its own, there is much of the back story that you'd be missing out on. While each book focuses on a different trinity, there is also an ongoing story that begins with the first book, and continues with each subsequent book. I highly recommend reading the series in order, as it's a very complex world that these books are set in, and you'd be missing out on a lot if you don't.
