It all started when an estranged family guardian showed up in Ean McMurrin’s home and revealed the truth his father had kept hidden. 16 year old Ean was heir to a royal throne. Only his kingdom was not of this world.

Learning he is a magical descendant of a royal family, Ean decides to run away from home and travel to Ireland, where he and Irish teen Adair O’Conner are transported to the strange world of Natura. Together, with the help of a size-changing dragon, the teens travel through the Illusion Forest on a quest to unlock Ean’s potential as Talent Master. They find this is challenging when various assassins are trying to kill them at the same time.

And Ean, stricken with guilt for accidentally putting Adair in these dangerous circumstances, is desperate to find a way to send her home; but this is hard to do when he finds himself falling in love with her…

Facing twists and turns in their journey, their lives are even more threatened when Ean unintentionally releases an ancient prisoner that will likely destroy the planet. On the brink of battle, Ean makes heartbreaking decision in order to save Adair before taking on the monster with the intention to win or die trying.
