About the Author

Kathleen Madden Dunleavy is a retired widow who is a graduate of The Catholic University of America's undergraduate Nursing program, Fairleigh Dickinson University's Graduate School of Education, and The University of Phoenix's Graduate School of Nursing.

Kathleen is a mother of four, grandmother of eleven, and great-grandmother of a baby boy. Her primary interests are her family, children, reading, writing, gardening, music, spirituality, helping others and friends.

Kathleen's professional career was in Nursing. She was employed at New York-Presbyterian Hospital for over forty years in the fields of Neurology and Neurosurgery. While at NYPH, she was also an active participant on the Organ Donor Council, the Pastoral Care Advisory Board. and the Medical Ethics Committee. She is also an accomplished pianist and organist.
