First published in 2013, My Cupcake, My Love won the 2014 HOLT Medallion Award honoring outstanding literary talent (voted on by readers) in the novella category. In 2019, I decided to create a series set in the small mountain town of Cedar Hollow. My Cupcake, My Love, with a new cover and minor changes in the text, became the introductory story in that series.
