My Girlfriend's a Geek, Vol. 1 by Pentabu

This blog is a record of battle as dictated by a man with a fujoshi girlfriend.
Okay, that was a lie. I'm not fighting at all.
The war is purely one-sided. Each day I am dragged further and further into the world of otaku.
I cannot be held responsible for any damages incurred by reading this blog
and falling into the same predicament.
There is much otaku talk contained within, so please follow your directions carefully, and do not exceed your recommended dosage.

Im not one to be interested in shoujo manga, but after reading the series in its entirety i really came to love the characters and the genre. Without spoiling too much, the general story starts with the main character who goes to university meeting the girl of his dreams. However what he doesn't realize is that she isn't normal. She's a fujoshi, basically a geek. The rest unfolds as his life changes in learning all of what is involved with being in a relationship with a fujoshi.

As a geek, I really enjoyed this whole series. There are plenty of japanese geek references, but there are great notes to explain the references. Not knowing every single reference does not take away from the great humor though. There is plenty of fun in this volume as we see the two get together.
