I enjoyed this book quite a bit. I actually had trouble putting it down. The story definitely is not an average zombie story. It has an intellectual quality mixed with the gory genre standard. The author does a fantastic job of describing the setting and character as well as thoughts an emotions!

I absolutely loved the first person point of view that the author writes with in this book. It's a refreshing twist to an ordinarily mundane topic for me. I could totally see this book becoming a full length novel. I recommend it to everyone because A. It's zombies! and B. Proceeds go to Child's Play Charity. Why wouldn't you buy it after those reasons??

My Zombie Body by Mario Lurig was a pretty good book. This book had many different points about many different things. In this book Mario Lurig put you in the mind of the main character in the lonely isolation of not having your own senses any more. After the virus got him he was very confused going through the same motions mainly because he could not control his body to go through it on his own. One of the main points that i liked about this book is it made sure to describe how he felt and what he did as he was learning to gain control of his body again. One of the things that i was not very fond of is that there were so many flash backs sometimes it would not tell us when a flash back was coming in. This is sometimes confusing, but very helpful with finding the rest of the story to go along with what the story is know. Over all i did like this book.

The story follows Jarad, the main character, through various situations and flashbacks. As his body makes the journey ever westward, his mind is still in operating order. He tries to regain control of his renegade physical being while coming to terms with the horrors his body has committed. An entertaining look at the Zombie genre, and definitely a unique perspective on the changes and how they are perceived by the infected. I would absolutely recommend giving this story a read, and the price can't be beat!
