Don't miss the exciting conclusion to Cyborgs: Mankind Redefined!

Once he was a cyber scientist who restored cyborgs. Now he's Nero 1000.

Locked in the cage of an insane cyber scientist who calls himself Creator Omega, Nero waits for his captor to decide his fate. Having seen Creator Omega's horrific failed experiments, Nero knows his body is about to be cybernetically altered forever. Even knowing that, he's not sorry he traded himself to free Aja Kapur. He would do it all over again.

Though Nero doesn't know what Creator Omega did to the female cyborg to remove her memories and gain her obedience, he knows Kyra will fix her—if Aja finds her way back. One thing is for sure, Aja's fellow female cyborgs, Lucy and Meara, will never stop searching and will fight to the death to save her.

Hell has no fury like an abused female cyborg seeking revenge. But who will save him?

Peyton will try. All of the cyborgs he helped restore will try. His captor may be a tipping point for the next world war. He prays that doesn't happen, but the injustice of people being cybernetically without their permission must stop. Kyra is right about that. She's always been right that the cyber soldier program failed humanity. And well his gods know that he played his part.

But Creator Omega doesn't care about what anyone thinks of his evil. His madman captor wants a new right-hand man. He used Aja as bait to lure him there. Now he has exactly what he wanted all along.

For Nero, that means it's already too late. He's about to become something no one ever may be able to save.

If I had read the previous books in this series it might not have been so confusing for me. Lots of characters to keep track of. Did like Nero and how he would do anything for his love. "A copy of this book was provided by author with no requirements for a review. Comments here are my honest opinion." LOVE THIS AUTHORS OTHER SERIES so check them out.

I’ve been reading this series since the beginning and I have to say Nero is a great character – I’ve found myself constantly saying “awwwwwww!” throughout the stories and this time that is mixed with wanting to stand with him and help get him out of the “situation” he finds himself in. No spoilers but the cyber community – soldiers and scientists and hackers – are amazing and make this story fast and furious. There are lots of bad guys, REALLY bad guys, and much good folks – both human and cyber human. There’s mystery and intrigue and betrayals and love; love so strong that bonds that were already there are strengthened as the story unfolds. Great read that has so many ups and downs and twists and turns that I can’t say much or else I’ll spill the plot. Recommend!

Nero 1000 by Donna McDonald Cyborgs: Mankind Redefined #6 (finale) With most of the people and cyborgs from previous books safe and sound there is still Aja out there somewhere waiting to be saved. And, Aja is being held by Creator Omega who is a VERY bad dude. When Nero is given a choice that he can’t refuse he realizes it probably won’t go well for him. So, relying on his friends who are cyborgs, humans and scientists he heads off to do what he must do hoping that the woman he loves will be saved from a fate worse than death. What I liked: * Nero – smart, loving, giving, old fashioned, kind * Aja – what a difference a processor can make * Meara and Will – they played a big part in this book * Calvin – wouldn’t mind seeing more of him at some point in the future * The Team – mostly couples that found one another in previous books * Finding out who Creator Omega really is * The wrap-up that settles what happens to the loose ends – although – there are people that could show up in future cyborg books if there is a spin-off series * The end statement – made me think about wars and revolutions and such and living in Lebanon at the end of 2019 that is a big issue at the moment What I did not like: * The men in power wanting to keep power and their corrupt skewed outlook on the world (recurring theme in the world though I wish it wasn’t)) * The loss of those that were used as guinea pigs by Creator Omega (and others) * Saying goodbye to this series Did I enjoy this book? Yes Would I read more by this author? Yes Thank you to the author for the ARC – This is my honest review. 5 Stars
