Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summers features a group of fun, flirty, and emotional friends who gather each summer at their Cape Cod cottages. They're sassy, flawed, and so easy to relate to, you'll be begging to enter their circle of friends!

Nights at Seaside is a Sweet with Heat novel and conveys all of the passion you'd expect to find between two people in love without any graphic scenes or harsh language. If you're looking for a spicier romance, pick up the steamy edition, Seaside Nights, written by New York Times bestselling author Melissa Foster. Addison Cole is Melissa's sweet-romance pen name.

Sky Lacroux has finally realized her dream and opened her own tattoo shop in Provincetown, Massachusetts. She's happy as can be, preparing the shop for its grand opening and renting a cottage in the Seaside community while renovations to her new apartment are being completed. The only thing missing is the one thing she longs for, and has no control over--love.

Sawyer Bass, a professional boxer, plays his guitar at a local bar to escape the painful reality of his father's deteriorating health and a recent health warning of his own. But when he spots a stunning brunette across the room, escaping reality goes out the window, and the beautiful woman becomes the focus of his next song--and maybe even the rest of his life.

When Sawyer walks into Sky's tattoo shop and sees the woman from the bar--Sky--the chemistry between them is instant. Sawyer is everything Sky could ever hope for in a man. He's honest, loving, sensitive, and potently virile--but boxing goes against everything Sky believes in. The closer they become, the more she realizes that her alpha boxer is waging his own emotional battle--only the battle she thinks he's waging isn't the one that threatens to tear them apart.

All Sweet with Heat novels are written to stand alone, so dive right in! If you enjoy this story, for even more fun, read the rest of this sweet and clean contemporary romance novel. Readers of women's fiction have also enjoyed this deeply emotional, friend-centric series.

My ARC Review: Today’s review is the newest book in the Nights at Seaside series. It’s Sky ( tattooist) & Sawyer ( boxer/singers) book. And it”s a moving book with great characters who love life, each other and family. Sky is the free spirit – opening her dream shop in town and falling for a guy with a guitar. But he’s so much more – a poet & song witter with a core of steel as a fighter. But can Sky accept all of him because his goal to support his family is worthy but so is his life. Read this newest book in this great series and find out what’s the hype. Lisa

This is Sky and Sawyer's story. We've met Sky before. Now, we get to know her better and met Sawyer too. These two had some crazy palpable chemistry going on. Definite Sweet with Heat! The ARC of Secrets at Seaside by Addison Cole were kindly provided to me by the author for review. The opinions are my own.

I mean, seriously, this series just keeps getting better with each book! Each book adds to the stories of this group of friends living in Cape Cod. This story was hard for me to put down because I needed to know if Sky and Sawyer would be able to work things out to be together. There were many hiccups and bumps along the way but the heartwarming ways both are brought together leaves you fighting for their relationship. A delightful weekend book to read while relaxing!

I've been looking forward to Sky's book. It lived up to my expectations. I highly enjoyed this read. It's a book that pulls at your hear tat times, but can make you laugh as well. I loved seeing the gang hanging out at the cover. They're always a trip when they get together. There is more then meets the eye when it comes to Sawyer. I liked his poetic side. Totally romantic. He's at a crossroads in his life and huge decisions loom. It's a great addition to the series. I can't wait for more.

A sweet heartwarming romance! Nights at Seaside is a well-written book that will keep you entertained from beginning to end. This story is full of passion and plenty of heartwarming romance. It is so easy to feel a connection to and like all of the characters. When I finished reading the book, I feel that the characters are friends, the next-door neighbor, and even family. It was nice to read Sky’s story. The passion between her and Sawyer was instant and progressed throughout at a steady pace. Addison Cole does a wonderful job of weaving romance with humor and passion while adding in tragedy and heartache that ends with the happy-ending that we come to expect. I know when I see her name on a book that it will be an entertaining and enjoyable book that I won’t be able to put down. Addison Cole definitely has a gift for writing spectacular stories! I have not been disappointed with a book yet! Definitely, an author that you will want to keep on the top of your go-to list. If you enjoy reading a sweet romance with a touch of humor, then you will thoroughly enjoy this book and the series. A truly captivating, emotional and heartwarming read.

If you are looking for a captivating light-hearted romance novel with a splash of humour, then this is a book you want to check out. Although I would recommend reading her previous work in this series, this book can be read as a standalone novel. The characters are fun, and the Author has a way of making you feel like you are part of the story. Although on the surface Sky & Sawyer seem to have total opposite personalities, when you get to know their characters you soon see how they have many more similarities than expected.

Say hello to another fun Seaside novel by Addison Cole. If you're unfamiliar with these books they're clean versions of a sexy series of books by author Melissa Foster. The Sweet with Heat versions include the romance without the graphic sex scenes. If you know my reading style by now, you'll know this is one of my favorite genres to read. Nights at Seaside introduces a new guy in town named Sawyer Bass that may succeed in winning more than just boxing matches. He has the potential to win the heart of the eccentric, kind-hearted, and free-spirited Sky. The two have an interesting story and it's one you'll want to experience for yourself. This book isn't just about a summer romance, it's so much more. The lives of these individuals include truly difficult situations involving those that are closest to them. It's heartbreaking to watch people go through tough times but it's inspiring to see them work through things and manage to find the positive side of life. One of my favorite aspects of the novel was the focus on music, words, and poetry. As a blogger and avid reader this spoke directly to me and I loved the way Sky's customers inked beautiful words into their skin to savor and hold onto for the rest of their lives. Words have the capacity to sooth, inspire, and heal and this novel is a wonderful example of how words play a role in one's life.

I have said this with each book in this series, but they are so heartwarming. I get the warm fuzzy feeling when I read this series, and I love it! Sawyer could be such a contradiction, but it works so well for him. He is someone that I would love to know in real life. Sky is so sweet and caring, and in some ways a little too sheltered. I love the outlook that she has on life. This entire series has been so great to read, and I love getting to catch up with all the characters from the previous books. It's like coming home to old friends. I can't wait for the next book!

Okay so by now you know how much I love to read. Especially when those books are placed in my home state of Massachusetts. This book is set in beautiful Provincetown, Massachusetts. In this book we meet Sawyer and Sky, Sawyer is a professional boxer who likes to play his guitar at a local bar. He does this to forget that his father died. Sky owns a tattoo parlor and has everything she could ever want except for love. I loved the immediate chemistry between these two. This book had me looking forward to every page until the end. If you love sweet romance books then you will really enjoy this story. I can’t wait to read the next one!

I love reading the Seaside books. The characters always bring a smile to my face with their humor, wit, love, and loyalty. They are a giant family. You can never go wrong with reading a Seaside story. I enjoy Sky's character. She's very caring, creative, and down to earth. She's the type of person I'd love to hang out with. Her interactions with the Seaside Sisters are my favorite. Sawyer seems too good to be true. His poetic words and kind heart make him the perfect book boyfriend. I really enjoy the poetic lines from him throughout this book. I did want to shake some sense into him a few times when he thought being a boxer was who he only could be. With Sky and Sawyer's relationship, it seemed like Sky questions it more than I had expected her to. She seems unsure it was okay or normal for her to be having such strong feelings towards Sawyer so quickly. The strong feelings so quickly make perfect sense for how Sky's and Sawyer's personalities are. They are very alike and seem to share similar values and interest, minus the Sawyer's career in boxing and Sky's distaste for violence. I enjoyed reading them trying to work through their doubts and differences. I received this book through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

In this addition to the Sweet with Heat series from Addison Cole, we are greeted to the story or Sky Lacroux and Sawyer Bass. Sky is such a mellow, down to earth, free spirit who has just opened her tattoo shop Inky Skies, she has been mentioned in previous books but you do not have to have read them prior to this as each character gets their own unique story. Sawyer Bass couldn't be any more different from Sky if he tried, he is a boxer and is doing one last fight in the hopes that he can earn enough money to help out his parents. He may be a boxer but oh boy, he is nothing like a typical boxer, he has a sensitive and romantic side to him that Sky gets to see, but she is worried about the whole boxing situation,. Boxing is a part of Sawyers life and a way to help his parents, but it could make or break his relationship with Sky she is worried about him and tries to get him to change his mind but it seems fate has a way to interfering when they least expect it to. As with all of Addison's books there is plenty of heat and sizzle between them with just enough hint of spice, Nights at Seaside is a great addition to the Sweet with Heat series and I can't wait for the next book in the series.  I received this book through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

Sweet with Heat is the perfect description for the Addison Cole Seaside Summers series. Within each book is an adorable couple that have so much heat before them yet she manages to keep their private lives hot and clean. There are hints at their private moments but it is kept private. Minimal blushing happens while reading Addison Cole. In Nights at Seaside we get to know Sky and Sawyer. Sky is a character that has been seen in the other books in the series but she has always been a secondary character. This is her time to shine, her time to find love, and her time to tell her story. Sky and Sawyer see each other at a bar and the sparks fly immediately. There is an attraction that no one can deny yet they don’t talk that night. By chance Sawyer comes into Sky’s new tattoo parlor and fate cannot be denied. I love how quick they come together, how fast their relationship grows, and how evident their love for each is. Sometimes a relationship goes too fast but this relationship had to move fast. These two were so meant to be together that a slow relationship growth was out of the question. The Seaside Girls made their position on the relationship known. They accepted Sawyer into their family without question. There was no doubt that Sawyer would be part of their family after the first bonfire on the beach. The Seaside guys were just as welcoming. Right away Sawyer was taken into their confidence and brought into their lives. I love the scene by the pool with the guys and girls and their jinx’s towards Theresa. Everything in this story is wonderful. The characters, the setting, and the story is exactly what I look forward to when I pick up an Addison Cole book. I recommend picking up your own copy ASAP.

Nights at Seaside is the sweet edition of the steamy novel Seaside Nights. Sky Lacroux is a free spirit "bohemian" type gal who likes to think she is being guided by the universe. She finally was able to open her own Tattoo shop 'Inky Skies' in the artsy community of P-Town (what they all call Provincetown, Massachusetts.) She hopes that if her brothers will lay off their over protectiveness a little, that love will fall into her lap. Sky and the girls take a night off and go to an open mic night at a local restaurant/bar. Then her wish comes true as she sees Sawyer Bass playing guitar that night who is also a professional boxer. They don't actually meet until he happens to walk into her tattoo shop the next day. They make plans for that night and their relationship sky rockets from there. They have a fast building relationship and everything seems to be going good. Sky is not happy about him boxing, especially after she hears what his Doctor had to say about his career choice. Sawyer only wants to box in one more competition to raise enough money to secure his Parent's financial future and his Father's in-home health care needs. Will Pete and Sky end up staying together? Will Sky be able to handle him fighting in the ring just one more time? Or will Pete decide it's not worth it and find another way to make the money? Though this book mainly focuses on Sky and Sawyer, all of the other Seaside Girls make an appearance. Most of them are married now and/or currently pregnant. I read and reviewed this book through Beck Valley Book Tours. I wasn't asked to write a positive review nor was I compensated in any way for this review.

If you’ve been following this series and ever wondered if there may be something more between Sky and Blue, then you should love this one! Always joined at the hip with Blue or one of her brothers, Sky hasn’t had a lot of luck meeting men and has never been in love. Luckily, Sawyer Bass literally sings his way into her life and she is completely taken with him. Despite his ruggedly handsome looks, Sawyer is just as sweet and sensitive as Sky, and there is instant chemistry between them. I must admit that Sawyer has now moved to the top of my list of book boyfriends, although I realize I say this frequently when reviewing anything by Addison Cole or Melissa Foster. But this time, I mean it. I loved this man from the beginning of the book until the end. He has such a huge heart, he’s romantic, poetic, strong, sexy, and so on. Honestly, of all of the characters in this series, I think Sawyer and Sky have been the most complex and all of the various sides of them flowed together beautifully throughout the novel. Besides just a budding romance, Nights at Seaside touches on several heart-breaking but relevant issues such as the risks of concussions in sports, the effects of debilitating illness on a family, and the guilt of trying to provide for loved ones. But don’t let me scare you into thinking this is a tear-jerker because there is still plenty of the trademark humor that I have grown to love in this series, especially concerning pranks that they pull on one another at Seaside! Unfortunately, my vocabulary is nowhere near vivid enough to describe my love for this novel and the entire series. Addison Cole has stolen my heart again and left with me a warm, fuzzy smile on my face at the end of one of her novels.

Sky is a free flowing spirit who is not looking for love. Sawyer Bass is, on the outside, the total opposite: a professional boxer. Sky has a group of close friends that will support her in what ever she chooses to do, but does she dare make the choice to fall for someone who makes his living destroying when all she desires to do is create? I really enjoyed getting to see gentle Sky's fiery though patterns swift and swirl with every new encounter. Cole allowed her characters to naturally fall where fate would take them without it seeming forced or unnatural. She is forging a strong name for herself in the world of gentle romances.

This is the 6th book in the series and is yet another great read! This time it's Sky's turn to find love and a HEA, is love at first sight real?? Do you believe?? Always great to revisit the gang, love their loyalty to each other and how they have become a "family". Ms. Cole has such a talent in not only writing wonderful stories but in her character development as well. I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my honest review!

Sawyer Bass and Sky Lacroux together really make you swoon. Sky is the free spirit, tattoo artist, making it on her own surrounded by wonderful family and friends. She is drawn to Sawyer as he sings in a bar and then shows up the next day in her shop to get a tattoo. That is how it all starts. They are drawn each other in so many ways. She loves poetry and he has a gift of spouting out memorable lines that everyone in town loves and wants tattooed on their bodies. I’ve read many of Addison Cole’s books and love how the characters from other books appear over again so you can follow the family/friends in the town to know the after story. These two are both family oriented, and the sweetest couple yet. I love how they interact and the “Sweet with Heat” romance that they have. Addison Cole really knows how to write a great Romance story.

In Nights at Seaside, Sky Lacroux grapples with a concept that many individuals face in their lives - how much of a person's job is reflected in their character. She falls for Sawyer Bass but has to deal with the fact that he is a professional boxer. Although he is fighting for a noble cause, is it enough to keep them together? When one unexpected hit to the head threatens to destroy their relationship, will the two of them be able to overcome the obstacle or is it over between them? An enjoyable read, can't wait for the next book in the series.

Melissa Foster becoming Addison Cole and writing sweet books with just a touch of heat might have been the best business decision of the decade. I love Melissa's writing and am even more in love with Addison's. Not all my friends enjoy a book that is a bit more explicit so Addison's adaptations are just what I need to recommend to these people. While this is book six in a series - at least if I count correctly, it can be read as a standalone. I would, though, recommend you read them all. Picking up a Seaside book is like going on summer break with friends. I feel like all of these women, and men, are people I would hang out with. I look forward to each new book because I want to get back to my friends and see what they have been up to. I've been waiting for Sky's story. She was the outsider that grew up there but had not been a part of the group since these women had been coming back to Seaside. I wanted to see who she would end up with and Sawyer is the perfect choice. I highly suggest you pick up a copy of Nights at Seaside. I received this book through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

I'm so in love with Sawyer. *sigh* I fell for him right from the beginning. He is everything that I would love for my daughters to find in a real man. His poetic words are amazing. The way he treats Sky and cares about his family. My thoughts of him are so overwhelming that they are hard to put into words. You will just have to read the story to know what I mean. Of course I'm not thinking of my daughters when I say that this man is hotter than sin!!! Sky seems more settled from that last time we read about her. I love her and her free spirt. She is such a loving, caring person. They really are made for each other. From Nights at Seaside, “Lay your head on my shoulder. Your heart next to mine,” he whispered. “I’ll take it all. Hear it through.” He pressed a kiss to her temple. “I’ll wrestle your demons, to remain beside you.” Oh my gosh, how much do I love that?!?!! Their relationship was beautiful to follow throughout the book. I also loved being able to catch up with the rest of the Seaside gang and any pranks that Bella may have pulled. Looking forward to the next Seaside book. Addison Cole has done it again!

Sky Lacroux is a tattoo artist and has finally reach a point in her career to own a shop in Provincetown, Massachusetts. She's a happy person and has all her brothers and friends from Seaside in her life. One day she meets Sawyer Bass, a professional boxer, guitar player and artist at a local bar. He is in an emotional journey with his family and career and suddenly a ray of sunshine appears in his life and is Sky. Sawyer and Sky are a hot couple who faces adversities with grace and love. This is a story about family, romance and a lot of love. Sawyer love for his parents made me cry and he is an adorable man and companion for Sky. This series is great, and this book will move you to tears.

The first time Sky sees Sawyer is at bar while he is on stage performing. The next time Sky comes to see Sawyer is when he comes into her tattoo studio. Sky instantly falls for him. When she comes to find out he is a boxer she is torn. This is another wonderful and sweet story from Addison Cole.

4.5 stars Nights at Seaside by Addison Cole is a heartwarming, contemporary romance and I loved it. Skye and Sawyer are likable, relatable characters that captured my interest and heart from the first moment they set eyes on each other. I loved watching their relationship unfold, I loved their instant attraction and their chemistry was off the charts. They made me swoon, they made me smile and they touched my heart watching them together and with their families. These two shared something very special that couldn't be ignored, when you meet your soulmate everything just falls into place. Overall, Nights at Seaside is a beautifully written, entertaining read that will pull at your heartstrings. This is the sixth book from the Sweet with Heat - Seaside Summers series, each book can be read as a standalone and I highly recommend them all!

My first thought is they just keep getting better. But actually that sounds like each installment is better than the last. I haven't read them all. And, I have read them out of order but there isn't a real need to read in order. Each one I've read is just better it seems than the last. Perhaps because we get to 'know' a different one of the characters better. Nights at Seaside was a great read. The characters are real. Sky is sweet. Had me wondering a little bit as I am not much into tattoo's. I was thinking what's this character going to be about? Sorry for the stereo type. But I guess it kind of goes with how Sky felt about Sawyer at first. Finding out he is a boxer almost put the skids on any budding romance between the two. Nights at Seaside is the 'sweet' version of the original book Seaside Nights by Melissa Foster which is a little more sizzle and bedroom scenes. I love that the author has provided us with this sweet story with just a little sizzle. I look forward to reading the rest of the series. I received a complimentary copy from Beck Valley tours. This review will appear on retail sites where available. This review will appear on Good Reads.

“In your eyes I found myself.” In your soul I found my savior. Sky is a free spirited tattoo artist with a little bohemian side. She’s excited about her new tattoo shop, loves life in Provincetown with its eclectic world and the peaceful side of Seaside where her best friends all own cottages and have found the love of their lives. She begins to yearn what they have, a love so strong that it turns your world upside down. Without warning, Sky’s world finally collides with Sawyer, the poet, the singer, the strummer. She falls under his spell and is attracted to every side of him but one ; his career as a boxer. The violence of it goes against all her beliefs……Will Sawyers softer sides be enough to win her heart ?……. Sawyer loves to box, it saved him once and he masters the sport like an art. He knows the beautiful woman that stole his heart the first time he laid eyes on tries to understand his passion, to see past the violence and the finesse it requires as well as the dedication and concentration. He wants a future with her no matter what, but he has a secret he is not willing to share just yet……… Sawyer struggles between his love for his family, fighting to secure their future and his health that could cost him a future with his soulmate…. A beautiful, well written story that immerse us in the dreamy world of poetry, music , arts and in the brutal reality of life. The sacrifice people are ready to make for loved ones and the importance of friendship and family. Love and honor, trust and commitment. I loved getting back into the Seaside gang once again !
