A Sleeping Beauty Awakened by a Rogue's Kiss...

After fleeing the dukedom that was rightly his, the last thing exiled nobleman Justin Connor expected to find washed up on the wild shores of his island paradise was a young woman asleep on the sand, curled like a child beneath the moonlight. His hard-won peace is shattered by the mischievous creature with the wicked dimple and mysterious past.

Orphaned and cheated of her inheritance, Emily Claire Scarborough has sailed halfway around the world to find the man who promised her father he would take care of her, then abandoned her to an English boarding school. She is determined to make him pay for her years of loneliness--with nothing less than his heart.

New York Times bestselling author of Heather and Velvet, Nobody's Darling, Shadows and Lace, Lady of Conquest, Once an Angel and Thief of Hearts.

This was the first book i read from teresa medeiros and since then i've been a huge fan. The characters are great and the woman is going after the man which we rarely see. It's a really beautiful story and i suggest you read it.

This is a bad take on The Little Princess. It was so bad that I just skimmed the last 100 pages. It just went on and on. The main characters were unlikeable and stupid. I love most of her books but NOT this one. Save your money unless you like being frustrated with a neverending story.

Okay book & would have given more stars but she had a horse in 'Whisper of Roses' named 'Pookah' that got shot by its owner saving the lady in distress. The same name (but spelled Pooka) is used in this book(page 19) and is referred to as a hermit. I have thought she had used other names in duplicity but because this was such an unusual name, it struck home. It's hard to believe she cannot come up with original names for her books.
