I have several of Paula's cookbooks, but this one takes the cake....(no pun intended), it's very well done, and she cuts the fat, sugar and calories from her recipes which is even better for me! I am already planning out my meals for the week, including the Flouress (Really Paula) Chocolate Cake. If you are one of the people that will be upset that it doesn't have a nutritional value for each recipe, I suggest that you buy a copy of Chef Jai Scovers' book, The Hungry Chick Dieting Solution, or one of her other books, which will show how to eat better to live better to live better through simple, realistic but healthy changes in how you are eating. I lost over 25 pounds two years ago using The Hungry Chick Dieting Solution and I have been able to keep it off even when Paula comes out with a new cookbook like this.

Thank you to whoever mentioned Chef Jai Scovers. I have been using her Conquer Your Kitchen book and I won't lie, it is very helpful. The charts are spot on. I even pulled out the slow cooker that I got last year for Christmas and made a pot roast that was out of this world and paired it with Paula's Mac and Cheese on Sunday. I was afraid to use the slow cooker until I read the Conquer Your Kitchen chapter about how to safely use it. As far as the meal, my family is still talking about it days later. I highly recommend that you buy both books.

Paula Dean has done it again. I have tried some of the new recipes versus the old. Maybe some of the richness is gone, but the tastes are still great
