Had like 60 pages that were like only half taken up or a few sentences sometimes per page, but if you love poetry and quick reads, this is for you

Thank you to Andrews McMeel Publishing and Netgalley for the ARC! My heart feels well loved after reading Courtney's latest book. I don't know how she does it, but she's able to write in a way that takes personal and painful moments and make them relatable for anyone. I found myself bookmarking so many pieces and reading them over and over again. For many of these pieces, I kept thinking, "Yes. Someone understands." It was a beautiful read just like the first volume. Thank you for sharing your heart!

I found this collection almost painfully relatable. Each section tugged on a different emotion but all still worked together to make a cohesive collection. As someone who prefers their poetry to emotionally destroy them, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this one. It had a more subtle emotional strength rather than a lot of in-your-face pain some collections use. I liked this one, and I think it's a good companion to the poet's first collection.
