A WINNER. It has been some since since I read the rest of the series. It was fun being reminded what great characters Ms Roth created. The brothers and friends are big, sexy, bird shifters that take great joy in riling their brother, Keonea, who has come to the human realm after recovering from their enemy's torture. He has issues and he has met a gorgeous human, Lark, who brings back feelings long forgotten. Lark has her own baggage, on the run, she doesn't allow herself to make friends, but what she feels from and for Keon gives her another battle. Meeting the men Keon has told her stories about and seeing their man pranks and mouthy taunts gives her the push to say things and let Keon know she thinks he is hot. Their interest sends the men on their way, however something prevents them leaving. There is action, tenderness, hot steamy men, humor and characters you have to love, hate or want in the most carnal way. The end scene is unforgettable—I'll just say one brother pulls the ultimate prank. Although I was provided an ARC for an honest review, I would have purchased this wonderful book and highly recommend it.
