About the Author

Urban fantasy author Angela Roquet is a great big weirdo. She collects Danger Girl comic books, owls, skulls, and random craft supplies. Her obsessions include the Wizard of Oz, over-sweetened coffee, and all things Joss Whedon. She's a fan of renewable energy, marriage equality, and religious tolerance. As long as whatever you're doing isn't hurting anyone, she's a fan of you, too.

Angela lives in Sedalia, Missouri with her husband and son. When she's not swearing at the keyboard, she enjoys painting, goofing off with her family and friends, and reading books that raise eyebrows. You can find Angela online at www.angelaroquet.com

Having not read the first of this series, I didn't know what to expect when I signed up for the tour. I really liked the sound of the blurb, and thought the book would soon fall into my list of enjoyable reads. I didn't expect to fall so hard for the book that I am looking at getting all the rest of the works by Angela Roquet. From the look of the ratings on her other books, I am not the only one who loves her works.  The story and plot are inventive, imaginative and the words find ways to weave themselves into your mind, leaving you craving for more. Before you realise, you have read the last page and are left hearing for more.  I love that the book has characters and major players from all religions, no matter how large or small. Plus, each character has a background, detail and personality akin to what I would have always expected from them, when I read books about each. The characters also stick to their role and personality, leading their lives as if they just like us - experiencing love, hate, fear, passion and turmoil.  The pace is exactly what is should be. There is enough action to keep you on the edge of your seat, but still enough down time to let you fall in love...or hate...with each character.  As some tip over the edge of sanity, we find ourselves wondering if we may have reached a crazed state as well, the details feeling so real. When loss is experienced, we nearly cry for the character, feeling as though we knew them ourselves. Ultimately, the world is so well written that Roquet has the reader believing they are part of the world. When the final cover closes, you are filled with sorrow and wanting to be back in your new world.  I personally cannot wait to see what happens next!

It's always been easy to like Lana but up until now she's always been kind of a skater. That changes in this story. Lana faces a series of situations that force her to take her job, her friends and her life seriously and the result is a more mature character that is more compelling and sympathetic. I started this series because I needed something to read until one of my "must read" authors came out with something new but I've decided those guys could wait until I'm up to date with this series.

I wasn't sure about buying this book after reading the third one, but decided to take a chance on it. I'm very glad I did! I really enjoyed the story. It had much more depth. The editing could use some improvement, but overall it was well written. About 220 pages. Deb in NH

This book is the 4th installment of the Reapers Inc series, and it just keeps getting better. I expected the story would start to become stale but this book held my attention as much as the first one did. I cannot wait for the next book!
