This may very well be my favorite book in exsistence and by far the best book in the series. All the action scenes were so intense I was squeeling and my fingers raw from turning the pages. So many things were happening in this book and the different perspectives let us see the world from everyones point of view. I was happy celeana found new friends who cared for her deeply since it has been a long time coming. My favorite part of this book would have to be all the planning that went into celeanas schemes and everything finally coming into place just as she wanted. You will definitely not regret reading this book and i might as well re read it a few more times until everythin has sunk in. This book will surely have me in a daze for the next few days just thinking about what conspired. One of my favorites, i hope everyone gets a chance to read it.

Every bit as amazing as the first three books in the series. Sarsh J. Maas has done it again. I had been waiting for this one for a long time, and this book does not disappoint; I highly recommend it. The characters are superb, and the world building is excellent. Can't wait for the next books! Warning: once you start reading, you will NOT want to stop until the end... sleep or no sleep.

I am at aww there isn't enough words to describe how awsome these books are. I have never had so many emotion in one book I cryed ,laughed, yelled, and fell in love . I could not sleep I had to keep reading to find out who lived and who died . I was so shock and amazed at the ending. I can't wait to see what Sarah Maas has next for us. (A must read)

After Heir of Fire I was so in love with this series and couldn't wait until Queen of Shadows. Queen of Shadows did not disappoint me at all. I love the plot twists, character growth, and building. I can't put into words how happy I was to see the book was 570 pages long on Nook. I could read this series forever if she would write them forever. I can't wait to see were the next book takes them. My favorite series of all time. :)

After having swallowed this book up in three days, I am still day dreaming about the story during random parts of my day. Therr was a lot ofnprogress in this book and I am hoping that there will be at least one more book in this series! The dynamics of the characters and their relationships to one another only grow and become more vivid as different storylines come together and events are tackled with cloaks and daggers. I loved this book and couldn't tear myself away, and anyone who is considering reading this seried--please do! You won't regret it, except for maybe how addicted you'll become. :)

I don't write reviews, but I'll write this one... this was, quite possibly, one of the top series I've ever read. And I read A LOT of series. Bravo. I'll be thinking of this book for anytime someone asks for a reccomendation (sp?), even though I don't usually read epics.

Queen of Shadows is her best book yet. The writing is beautiful, the characters are beautiful, and the plot twists are beautiful. Only reason I threw it at the wall was because the book had me hooked so bad I felt every emotion the characters were going through and one of the plot twists was just too much for the good ole heart ?

I adore the main character, especially how far she is from being perfect or any example of an ideal hero. She's angry, spiteful and has a tragic past. Usually the hero's always have one, but few, if any, have been sent to concentration camps and left to die. I also love how the inspiration for the faerie race came from the actual European folklore. I'd just finished Dragon Age Inquisition which became my favorite game, and out of all the games I've played, stories I've read, and movies I've seen, only this could compare. An enthralling epic fantasy read. I could ask for no better. P.S. This is the only review I've ever written though I've read countless books from a young age. Let that be a statement in itself.

An epic adventure indeed! A must-read for sure and a must for your personal library, along with the rest of this series. The last time I was in love with any book or author was when I read Karen Marie Moning's Fever series. The world needs more authors like Maas, Moning, Pierce, Kagawa, Carey, Pearson, Marillier, and others that are heroes in this genre. Happy Reading!

I loved this book. It weaved so many characters and their own stories together. It was a great build up to the final book. Loved the evolving relationships between the characters and the introduction of some new ones. It's heartbreaking and exciting. Loved the plot twist at the end which completely changed how I thought the next book would go. I enjoyed the banter between characters. I'm hoping that we weren't built up to be knocked down with the loss of any main characters in the next one (wishful thinking, I know). The author wields powerful magic with her words. I can't ever put down one of her books. Keep them coming Sarah and please don't make the next book to agonizing for us. I don't want to be depressed after reading it.

More detail, more narrative, each book in this series is better than the previous. It is cool to see Ms. Maas' writing maturing along with the characters in her story. Although this particular book has an ending in a sense, I am compelled to read on to the next book to learn more about Aelin and her court, as well as about Dorian and how he fairs as a king.

I have absolutely fallen in love with this series. In this novel, Aelin Galathynius has embraced her name and position as heir of Terassen, and all the perils that come along with it. The characters in Queen of Shadows are extremely well developed, and we finally get to see what Manon was up to in the Ferian Gap, and we also see Rowan and Aelin's relationship go from strictly professional to slightly romantic. I am throughly to see where it goes throughout the next two books.

I am one of the most pickiest bookworms out there, and it takes a lot for a book to meet my standards. But this series? I practicaly worship it to the point of dangerous obsession. I have watched this series grow beautifully for the past 4 years. Everything I want in a dream series is in here. I honestly cant get enough of this series. But the only thing that disapointed me in this particular book was that Rowan seemed to me as a little too sappy. I loved his pov in the last book, but now I feel like he is downgraded in this one. As if Rowan has become cheesy and a bit of a pansy. I felt like he wasnt acting like a powerful immortal fae, who is known to be the very best, would. But I did enjoy his compasionate and funny side. And the flaming romance. ;) Lana

I am 46 and was enthralled by each novel. Sarah J. Maas is a talented and gifted author- phenomenol storyteller. I was blown away by the attention to every detail, in development of characters, flow of story, description of Caelena's world. I loved that Maas stayed true to Caelena's character and kept her edgy and independent throughout the series.

Never a dull moment. Plot twists, pure romance, and lasting friendships are what make this series remarkable! I never wanted to stop reading it, the only thing that made me pause was to wait for the next book in the series. I'm afraid it's over now, and it seems like it's just the beginning for these lifelong friends. I want more. Please?!
