I am very disappointed with Eve tricking her readers into being kidnapped by aliens for a vacation to Venus. And not helping when a few females started to protest at being kidnapped.

What a fun book! The premise is quirky, the characters are a hoot, and including real authors in the story makes it feel like we're part of the fun.

Not as good as the others. Having real authors as characters in the book was distracting.

Not only was it a fun read it pulled me in feeling like a part of the adventure.

I loved it! Eve did a great job of pulling you into the story immediately. Gotta love an author that writes herself into the plot!

Liked the book. Premise wasn't exactly new but I haven't seen it since a 70's star trek book and of course the scifi movie Galaxy Quest - mixing reality with fantasy, loved it then love it in the book. Characters were enjoyable and fun. Humor abounded like all of Eve's books. The way Eve tied it into a live event was marvelous and fun. The only thing I did not like was the early part of book where my beloved author seemed to sell out her "beloved" fans for the sake of a vacation on another planet - seemed very cold and harsh. Not how I envision Eve.

This new release hit my e-reader early this morning. I could not wait to read it, and I greatly enjoyed it. I recommend it to anyone who likes their heroes hot and the dialogue funny. This is the 7th in her Alien Abduction series, and although it is not necessary, you will enjoy this one more if you have read at least one of the others. Have you ever wanted to star in a romance novel? The purple alien men are very popular among her readers, and the plot of this story is an interesting twist. The book begins at a convention of Eve Langlais fans (RTC 2106), and a group of aliens have arranged to abduct some women who “know” about them from reading the earlier Alien Abduction books. The heroine is a reader who loves the purple alien stories and discovers she is starring in such a novel. And if you want to see the tin-foil hat with the unicorn horn, there is a picture on her Facebook page.

This was a very different and fun premise for a story. Having an author actually be in on the plot was so funny. Loved it. Will be getting more of this authors books

I love this series but I found this book lacked something. Maybe it was because it made the authors out as greedy traitors or maybe because it seemed less realistic for her to fight it beings she had read all the other stories and knew what was happening from the minute they left earth. It was still a fun read, it just didn't live up to the rest of the series.

Would have been better without all he name dropping and if the author stayed with the main characters story line.

I laughed out loud so many times while reading this that I had to go sit in a room alone until I was done. This tale was priceless on so many levels. Langlais’ vibrant and at times snarky writing suits her characters perfectly. Her alien mercenaries are sizzling hot with personalities that both annoy and endear you to them. Because of the different (yet completely catchy) vibe and plot of this story the heroine does have a bit of a different feel from many of Langlais’ characters, but it fits perfectly into this story. That said, having read the rest of the series is a must to get the full enjoyment out of this tale. I love the anatomical differences and compatibilities between humans and the warriors of Aressotle. It allows everyone to stand out without making things just plain too odd to grasp. This was the perfect dose of purple to make your day. As with all of Langlais’ work it was fun and exciting as a trip out of this world.

Oh What a awesome book. I loved the whole idea of this and the fun of actually being taken from a book reading convention. What more could and book reader fantasize about. Ms Langlais surly let her mind take a trip on the wild side in this great laugh out loud story and the awesome part of including other wonderfully talented authors to be in it made it all the more fun. Because nothing is better then PURPLE!!!!! “Well, well, well. It seems we’ve been invaded, readers,” Eve announced in a husky voice. Cheers met her words. “I wonder which hero, or should I say, mercenary, this bad boy is? Is he acquisition specialist Tren?” “No!” “Perhaps Makl or Dyre?” Bridgette volunteers to help eve run her book convention Romancing the Capital Ottawa and the awesome theme big bad purple who knew that real Kulin would show up and take readers and sadly have rules for the married and ones with children. Phyr mother would not let him pass this chance up she needs grand kids and with women being rare this is the perfect answer. and with Phyr being a acquisition specialist what better way to make money then actuation them off when he gets home or will he. Once Phyr meets Bridgette plans may need to change and be altered. To benefit him and the things he doesn't know he wants. “Oh, I don’t think you should do that. I really shouldn’t be a part of this.” As organizer, she should step aside, even if her heart fluttered. “You are attached to another male?” She shook her head. “No.” “You are of age?” “Yes, but—” “Then you are mine. I claim you for my own.”
